I've been lurking a while but would like to join you please
Baby number 2 is due 25th July, got my scan next week so hoping to find out whether it's blue or pink! My big boy will be 3 by the time this one arrives and is excited about being a big brother at the moment. :undecided just hope it lasts!

Seeing people mention the nearly new sales - I've volunteered at a couple and it means you get to the pre sale which gives you a good chance for some bargains, personally I find it worthwhile. I go with a friend so it's also a nice chance for a catch up

Welcome to the newbies, ema-o you're due on my birthday its a great day to be born ;-)

Not much to report here, been in the garden today as we want it smartened up before baby arrives, mowed the lawn (we don't have much grass!) And helped bf clear out the mini pond (probs 0.5msq and only shallow) as we've decided to scrap it one because of bump and two because the doglet keeps drinking out of it (ick!)

Tomorrow we are bringing the travel system home from bfs parents loft where it has been in storage for what feels like donkeys, we got it really early on so they have been storing it for us but my mum (usually very superstitious regarding having cots/prams/etc in the house pre baby) has started asking when we will get it down and together etc so I asked if we could do it this weekend rather than in two weeks time :-)

Just remembered we still haven't filled in the baby book my friend got us when we told her we were expecting! Had better start thinking about beginning to fill that in!

Morning everyone! Had my whopping cough vaccination yesterday and my arm is still really really sore never had this before and I've had lots of jabs through traveling etc.. She said it may feel stiff, stiff is an understatement lol xx

Ohhh you have just reminded me that I have that booked in for sometime this week...I think...Hmmmm! I completely forgot. Now I'm hoping it was this week and not last week. Gosh I'm becoming a right numpty!! As far as I am concerned baby brain IS a real thing. I can't seem to keep anything in my head longer that 2 minutes! It's useless anyone coming around for coffee because I manage to put the coffee in, leave it while the water boils and then forget I even offered the guests a drink or starting making it. Most people walk out of the house without ever receiving their drink :rotfl:
