Argh, insomnia has hit big time :( was awake for several hours on Monday night. Went to bed at 8 last night as I was feeling really poorly, slept until DH came to bed and he woke me up. Not been back to sleep since :o feeling mightily fed up now, but nearly caught up on Call the Midwife!

I'm trying to find the balance too Littlemoog. Sometimes I feel I could sleep all day but then couldn't sleep last night. Won't let myself lie in so long, it's just detrimental in the long run. Want to be rested of the big event but also don't want to start off with no sleep lol.

Had my 25 week midwife appointment today (though am 24+4).

All good. Blood pressure good. CO2 levels good. Measured 24cms, which she said was good. Listened to heartbeat again, nice and strong. And she's a proper wriggler so, as usual, wouldn't stop moving! lol

28 week appointment booked in for 24th March. Will have anti-d then, and she said they'll take bloods again to check iron levels are still OK.

Have also booked in my Whooping Cough vaccine for 30th March.

Oh, and if my itching returns again I'm to call the hospital as she reckons they'll want to do blood tests.

Euro.. I'm so much more excited by your baby than I am my own still.. I'm so pleased everything is going along quite boringly!

I am confined to the chair.. I just walked to the shop and back.. was out a whole 40 minutes and I want to cry. My bones just hurt so very much.. this was with the pushchair as crutches and my support belt which is as much use as a chocolate teapot!! OH has nagged me all the way back about going to drs etc.. but its pointless, they cant do anything. I already dont do the things I dont absolutely have to do.. I've not vacuumed for a week due to pain and illness.. unfortunately neither has anyone else!

Plus point.. kidneys are still working.. irritable, but working!

Yes, normal and good are my two favourite words at the moment! lol Just hope it continues like this, and through the birth too!

I'm sorry your SPD is so bad. NO wonder you don't feel excited at the moment. Too difficult to be excited when you're in that much pain! I hope you find some relief soon!

I love newborn babies in knitted things pigpen! My mum has knitted us loads of stuff and I can't wait to see it all.

26 weeks today for me. Off to Glasgow this weekend again this time with my mum as our last girly weekend away. She treating me to a fancy hotel so I will take her and MIL out for dinner on Sunday. Looking forward to it and whilst I am away DH has been tasked with clearing all the rubbish out the spare room and finishing stripping the wallpaper!

I've had a quick scan and you all seem to be doing well to yay! Glad everything was good at your appointment euro.

Pigpen... first... I'm so sorry you're having a shifty time with the spd but yay to the knitting (I crochet and love a good catch up on it). Secondly... everything is fine. The cardiologist measured the fluid at 1.5mm, well within normal range. He was very impressed. Found no other problems. He did however tell me to have a good moan to my midwife as I should have had a doctor's appointment or even a rescan before being referred to him. Had to hang around for a second appointment for what was basically a repeat of my anomaly scan. All ok there too. Spoke to another doc (fetal specialist this time) who was also impressed with the results and also miffed that I hadn't been rescanned before a referral. I've come away with an appointment to see the doc I should have seen before going, another scan in 2 weeks to check everything is ok and then 2 weeks later I have to have bloods taken to check for parvovirus antibodies. Apparently parvovirus can cause extra fluid so they want to rule it out. The results for it today were negative so we're expecting another negative in a month. Think it'll then be chalked up to being one of those things/inaccurate measurement the first time around.

I've also been printed a creepy skull shot of the baby. Bless him. Looks like a right weirdo.
