OHs mother makes stupid suggestions about names.. .. Have I not complained about them yet?? I must be slacking.. Joseph.. my cousins sons name.. Jo.. OH's dead ex's name.. appropriate NOT!! Then she suggested William so she can call it Bill.. her own sisters grandson is called William!! and then to top it off... Sam.. not only is it a dogs name (my grandad and dad both had Sam's) my GRANDSON and my cousin are called Samuel/Sam ... she is freaking mental.. I replied with 'well I can promise you we will not be using ANY of those names!!' When we were having Squeak she suggested Nicholas.. about a 6 months after my nephew named Nicholas was killed in a motorbike accident... Seriously stupid.. and AS IF!!!! I would have a 'run of the mill' name for one of my boys anyway.. (Roderick, Bevan and Darius I already have) How would an ordinary name fit in?? grumble grumble rant rant...


I don't think the outlaws are horrible just thoughtless and some of the questions are utterly stupid such as 'hows the baby' .. er... not dead.. what else can you say lol??? Her first question when she was told was if I'm having a section.. is that a relevant question? Maybe I'm a bit sensitive and feel a bit violated by questions about my private affairs.

I NEVER tell anyone what names we've picked.. but then I never tell anyone I'm pregnant either haha!!! It's none of their business.. I told people when I had my first and my uncle stole the middle name I had chosen (Ethan) for his son who is 2 weeks older then made up some rubbish about it being one they chose months ago!!

We still have no names agreed for either sex, middle names are picked for both, but first names we don't agree on at all. You get a while to register them after birth though, I'm sure we'll settle on something before the 6 weeks are up!

We have picked out a first and middle name for our little girl now, just hoping that my brother and his wife don't pick it for their little girl who is due in the next two weeks. We haven't mentioned it to anyone, and they haven't mentioned any names to anyone either so we are hopeful that they've selected something different.

Wow she really knows how to say the wrong thing! :rotfl::rotfl:

I keep getting the "So what date are you booked in for your section?" question, and I'm like "errr you DO know you can have them naturally!" Plus there's no need to book me in for one yet. I'm 30 weeks, plenty of time left until they will be forcibly evicted!

I don't like people asking me invasive questions. MIL asked me if I was in bigger sized clothes yet (when I was 16 weeks) and keeps bringing up how much she weighs and how much she weighed two days after OH was born. IDGAF!! She always finds ways to negatively comment on my weight, but on Facebook she calls me "slim", which I ain't!!

I just want everyone to leave me alone in regards to questions and touching my bump! Yes I am pregnant, yes it is exciting, yes they will be here sooner rather than later.

We have our first name which I let DH pick (if it was a boy I was allowed to choose). We can't decide on a middle name, I like two of my great-grannies names Martha and Bessie but he says no so she probably won't get a middle name.


At my 4d scan they said she was measuring big over 2lbs and 27 weeks instead of 25 weeks. DH was a huge baby so I am preparing myself!

Welcome euro.. we are on the final thread arghhhh felt like time was dragging but now I'm not sure where the time went!!!

We have chosen our little boys name now, it wasn't to difficult as we always said if it was a girl I would choose and if it was a boy then hubby would choose, luckily I agree with the name he has chosen.

Glad your 4d scan went well Toots, I really need to get ours booked.

I can't decide whether time is flying, or standing still. Sometimes it feels like it's gone really quickly, and others it still feels like an age until we get to meet her! I think this depends on how well organised I feel about things at the time! haha


We are still going through the spare bedroom and the garage, selling stuff and clearing space. Was very productive yesterday, so 7 black bin bags of stuff, an old chair and a load of big cardboard boxes are going out today. Finally starting to see light at the end of the tunnel!

The only person who has tried with any of the 3 smalls is OHs sister (again with his family!! haha) .. that lasted about 0.0001 of a second! *slap* and instant rage.. the best part was it was Dot she was trying to feel move and she never moved she was a right lazy blob.. sadly that changed the second she arrived and shes not been still since! Had she asked I might have let her feel but to invade and violate my personal space is asking to die.

What give anyone the right to ask such rude personal questions?? .. As if you'd ask the porky in the Greggs queue how much she weighed.. I don't see the difference.. if you wouldnt ask a stranger you dont ask me..

I love being a crazy hormonal ragey b!tch lol..
