Hope you get things confirmed saffagal. Was it the same consultant who agreed at 10 weeks? Not the stress you need at this stage!

Littlemoog sounds like you have a busy schedule planned! Hope work calms down for you, it is so difficult not to get caught up in the everyday stresses. Are you able to work from home more as the weeks go on? I've got 3 weeks to go - 5 days, 4days then 3 days so phased out. Feel I can almost see the light! My bump really sticks out now, don't feel it so much at work until I rest at home and realise how heavy it is.
  • Penelope Elizabeth born at 3.52am on the 30th weighing in at 8lb 6oz. Waters broke at 4pm the day before, contractions thick and fast from then. Went from closed cervix to 5 cm in 4 hours using my tens. Midwife in delivery checked me when we got into the room and I was 7 cm, then about an hour later when I was getting told off for pushing (like you can stop it) she checked and I was fully dilated. After two hours of pushing I needed an episiotomy and ventouse to help her head out. Her shoulders then got stuck and following that I had a pph and lost 1.2 pints of blood. Apparently she came out floppy but they got her going. I was hooked up on the gas and air so didn't see most of the aftermath but I think my oh is a bit traumatised. Anyway, she was well worth the effort! Currently having cuddles after a loooooong night in the post natal ward feeding, winding and nappy changing. She will not sleep in her cot so haven't really slept at all since Friday morning. Hope everyone is good and having a great weekend. I am!

Congratulations Devildolly! Hope you're not too sore and they let you home today, I found it so much easier to be at home with DH to help me. The postnatal ward was probably my least favourite place ever!

Congratulations devildolly :) Hope that you're home and enjoying some lovely newborn cuddles x

Saw mw again this morning and she reckons baby is 3/5 engaged - hope not as would like baby to wait for our planned section... which is still being planned. Rang the hospital this morning to chase up my date and apparently they're still waiting on the surgeon's to book another list in. My mw is going to keep chasing them for me too.

On one hand would like baby to just arrive (anytime after tomorrow as my bednest is being delivered tomorrow) as would then mean don't have to keep hassling the hospital for a planned date. On the other hand, I know the latest baby will come is my due date.

Feeling very down today despite my dd being a darling and in a wonderful mood.

hope that everyone else is ok x
