Well I met with the Independant midwives on Thursday morning. NHS got jumpy when I mentioned home birth idea so the SOM is coming out on Monday PM to make a "plan". Its all just stressful and I want water. So will prob pay for IM with my savings
Hows the other July ladies doing? Your not far behind me ... Worked at more baby stuff today. Moved a book shelf into the nursery to put my 2 year olds books on as she has to many for her tiny bookshelf! Need to move changing table into our room tomorrow. Fun times!0 -
Congrats Nattykins. Hope everyone else is doing well.
Not been on much lately, having a tough few days with signs of preterm labour. Been here before on previous pregnancies, so hopefully will calm down, but still a bit worrying. Have steriod injections booked for 2 weeks time and at the moment expecting August arrival.Taking one day at a time....I'll get there in the end0 -
Argh Justd!!! So longs you don't deliver before me!! How many weeks are you at?0
-
37 weeks today and had enough now!! Hot, tired and swollen hands and feet - I've been lucky to have an easy pregnancy, but this last bit sucks!
Going for my last class at the gym tomorrow morning, then planning on going through the house room by room and getting everything up straight before baby comes.
Hope everyone else is feeling ok?xxDue 26th July, team yellow0 -
28 weeks only at the moment, hoping this little one stays put for a bit longer. Rebekah, there's quite a few of you i hope will go before me. Seems to have calmed down for now.Taking one day at a time....I'll get there in the end0

Hi guys! Logan is good, I just want to eat him up! He weighed 9lb 5oz, I'm quite short so he turned sideways because I physically couldn't deliver him.
Has anyone here with other kids had one with club feet? Our midwife mentioned he has club feet in both feet. We need to manipulate his feet and he's got to see a consultant in a few weeks.0 -
My 2nd had club feet, not very severe and was told at every nappy change to encourage to feet to straighted with light pressue. I'm quite small too, so think they just get a bit squished and feet don't have much room to move in utero. It corrected itself without any further intervention.
Good weight little fellow you have.Taking one day at a time....I'll get there in the end0 -
Congratulations Nattykins!
JustD - Hope your little one stays put for a good while longer
I'm washing the baby clothes today! I thought I'd been quite conservative with my purchases this time round but I've got a huge basket of colours and a huge basket of whites! You really do forget how tiny the newborn clothes are.
If anybody is thinking of getting bits for their hospital bags, Peacocks have got 20% off at the mo. Got a lightweight dressing gown for £9 and 2 sleeveless, part button down nightdresses for £5.40 each.0 -
Evening everyone, I never realised that there was a pregnancy thread but here I am.
I'm 30 weeks pregnant, with maybe a girl but 20 week scan wasn't conclusive enough. Luckily I have extra scans as I'm high risk so I'll ask again in Thursday. I'm due on 14th September.
Nice to be able to share pregnant news with everyoneFormer Debt free wannabe. Now trying to save for a rainy day!0
