Hi all,
Hope no one minds me popping by a bit early, I am currently 14 weeks. Just wondering if anyone who is on 2nd+ babies has any advice regarding double buggies? I know it's early days but this is baby no 3 for me and for no 2 I spent a lot of time looking at tandem pushchairs, bought the oyster max and ended up selling it 12 weeks later as I didn't like it so I'm starting my searching early this time in preparation for a big decision! I'm going to have 3 under 3 & a half so a double pushchair is going to be a necessity. I want a side by side this time which needs to be big enough for both of the older two to sit in depending on who needs a rest. Have fallen in love with the Bugaboo Donkey but just not sure I can justify the cost.
Congrats to all new mummies and hi to everyone else!0 -
Just going for a buggyboard here for now. I want a double - one behind rather than side by side but hubby doesn't She will be just 3.0
-
I have the city select double and absolutely love it. (mine are currently 2.5 and 1.5) this one will either go in the pram if one of them is wanting to walk or the sling. I do have the buggy board too.
My oldest will have just turned 3 when this one arrives but has a few issues with her joints so will still need the buggy.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Went ot midwife today who put off doing the birth talk until I have seen the consultant tomorrow. So she will do it at my 36 week appointment instead ... This is despite me being clearly celphalic today and at the last 2 growth scans ... Measured 32 weeks on her tape so 2 weeks behind but she doesn't want ot send me for scans as i've already had some. And that now brings to me to 50th centile?! So i've been on the 90th - and the 10th and now on the 50th?! lol they are sooo rubbish ladies rubbish!!0
-
I've got my 34 week app tomorrow Rebekah so we can compare measurements and centiles again! I really love my MW but she drives me insane with that tape measure! I wouldn't be suprised if after weeks of measuring ahead, growth has now levelled off. I really don't think my bump has grown - like it reached critical mass at an early stage or something!
For anyone looking at travel systems, I just got an email through with a great deal on the Cosatto Giggle 2:

Not that I'm biased or anything (with it being the one we went for), but it's gorgeous!
Hope you're all doing well xxDS - 08/15

Hello all, Baby Joshua Theo was born yesterday, 8lb 4. 8 days overdue, water broke first with no contractions, then started about 2 hrs later. Took just over 9hrs from contractions starting to being born, needed ventouse for the last little bit but otherwise uncomplicated. Stitches hurt a bit but back at home, baby is gorgeous and feeding well
Congrats to Angelmommy and Wendz on your new arrivals tooand good luck to all others on the thread, it makes all the pregnancy related woes and labour pains worth it! xx
