Happy due date Nicky! Sounds like baby is far too comfortable to budge just yet
Aww jedi, DS sounds so cute! I'm sure he will love baby more when its actually here
My appointment was all fine this morning, and even though baby is still on the 90th centile line its following a steady curve so no concerns. Heartbeat heard nice and clearly again and baby is head down. Now going to fortnightly appointments, and when I think of it that way that's only 4 appointments to go! We spoke about a birth plan and also whether I have a hospital bag packed (no) so that's my plan for half term.

Hi everyone, nothing much to report over here. 31+3 and feeling massive! Gone back to work this week after 2 weeks off for the wedding and struggling to get back into it! Might be moving my maternity leave start date forwards by 2 weeks if I still feel the same this time next week. Hope everyone is well and plans are all coming together.
must start working on hospital bag and babies room over the next few weeks xxx
Debt free finally :j
First house purchase ... 2018 :j0 -
Any news Nicky?! Naughty little bubba keeping you waiting!!
Welcome Hippaz, hope you're doing ok so far?
Hope your mum made it over Mrs TM, I'm hoping baby has decided to wait until nanny arrived!
Glad your appointment went ok Missy, 90th percentile tho?! have they guesstimated a weight? We're measuring on the 10th (well, just below now!). Worlds apart!!
It's lovely when toddlers embrace the bump isn't it Jedi? My 3 year old keeps kissing my belly and is convinced the baby belongs to him! :rotfl:
Glad scan was ok Milly and hubby was able to go too, hope baby flips for you over the nxt few weeks
As for me, another scan this morning and baby, which has been tracking on the 10th percentile has dropped downand I have a possible infection, just waiting in the results. We're back in 2 weeks and if baby is continuing to drop or follow today's line then they're going to possibly induce :eek: I potentially have 2 weeks to get all our shiz together :eek:

Hello people, hi to the newbies and welcome
congrats to anyone I've missed who's had their baby
fingers crossed for all overdue/nearly due etc
just a little update from me
I'm anaemic and have been prescribed iron tablets so hopefully should feel less knackered soon
I had glucose in urine (for the second time) so have been referred for GTT
Our nursery has gone from bad to worse - roofers working on it this week (which is wonderful) but.... all decent plasterers seem booked up until... April. I know baby will be in with us to start with but all furniture etc is stuffed into spare bedroom so nowhere for my mum to sleep when she comes up and I'm just really stressed thinking nothing is sorted....
My SPD/PGP is worse as is heartburn
Mental health midwife and "normal" midwife are being unsupportive of specifications in my birth plan and say I should consider a c-section and if I don't "co-operate" I might have to have one?!?!!!???!!
good news is baby has turned from breech to head down (31 weeks today) so hopefully will stay like that
sorry, it's turned into a bit of a miserable post but I'm so tired and so much is happening and so stressed and still crying a lot.
I'm still reading your posts and sending hugs and positive thoughts etc to people though!Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0 -

NEVER put up with someone telling you that! If they don't want to cooperate and are unsupportive, tell them that you'll be speaking to the supervisor of midwives for your area, and if that doesn't work, you'll be taking it to AIMs and NICE. That usually makes them snap out of it and behave!
There are only a very few situations where you may need a c-section, and all of those are medically feasible. It is a last resort in those circumstances though.
My mom is here and has fallen asleep on my sofa (where I sleep!), she want to feel baby before she goes to bed, but I'm thinking about just sending her on up to bed, as he will be moving more in the morning than he is now. 38+3 in the morning, and we are officially on baby wait and watch!0 -
Hi ladies,
Hope all doing well on Friday 13th :rotfl. I have already managed to break the sugar bowl this morning. Whoops. Let's hope that's all my bad luck for the day. That stuff gets everywhere!
Had a bit of a down week so looking forward to the weekend.
Had glucose test Monday and it came back positive. For now just taking my blood levels and hope to deal with just diet. Next level is tablets then insulin. Good thing is I get more scans to see little un. It does mean more appointments and time of work though. ( and paying for hospital car parking) I know I am allowed and they are important. My work are being great about it all as well. But it does not stop you feeling a little bad having all the time off.
Then yesterday the NCT emailed to say they have changed all the dates of the antenatal class we have booked and due to start on 28 Feb. we can't do the new dates so gotta try to get a refund. Eventually found one in April run by a local company. Little later than I wanted ( due 1st May and measuring big so prob early) but saved us some money and happy to give to local independant. (Bump2baby reality)
Nursery coming on. Got paint and copped out and booked a painter to come in next week.
Pram shopping with hubby tomorrow so exciting times.
Will add myself to list when I can get to a PC. Ipad copy and paste does not copy formatting and links etc.
Have a lovely weekend all

Pre warning, this post is TMI!
I'm suppose to be at work now but not left the bathroom since I got up this morning. Trapped wind/constipation causing bad stomachs ache. Work phone left downstairs so can't let them know!
Anyone have any recommendation on how to help this "pass"?0 -
I've made my way to work now and left the bathroom!0

Hi everyone,
This thread has made everything seem scarily real!
Started looking at things we may need but not buying anything big yet (unless I see a really good deal on ebay lol) and I told my mum she wasn't allowed to buy anything for bump until I reached the 24wk mark (shopping is one of her favorite past times!), so I think she's gone a bit mad now and will probably have bought half a nursery by now (will be first grandchild and she lives about hour and a half away, so its her way of being more involved I think).
Got my 25wk midwife appt next week, which hopefully will be ok and spoken to work about reducing my hours a bit (as work in A+E, so 12 hr night shifts aren't going down too well at present!). Still trying to work out how to sort mat pay, as no-one seems to have a clue at work who sorts things out!
Wondered if antenatal classes are a good idea and when you would normally do them? anyone got any advice,

I haven't done mine yet so cant comment on how good they are but I will say book them NOW if you do want to do it. I asked my MW at my 28 week meeting and she gave me the number to call but the ones I wanted to do were all booked up. Im going to one further way on a one day class in 3 weeks.
there were also no NCT classes close by at the right time I need them. Nor do we have any Lazy Daisy classes round here!
You'd think I lived in the middle of no where!0
