At my 32weeks scan baby was estimated at nearly 5lb already.

Yay sewit!! Huge congratulations. Don't stress the feeding, it gets much easier after a few days. Don't let the pressure of the first few days upset you too much if you can.

Sorry I've not been around that much ladies, tiredness (laziness lol) has well and truly taken hold. Saw my midwife last week and she was shocked at how swollen my feet were so have been spending half the day with my feet up and half the day trying to do stuff.

Also on advice from the midwife that ran our antenatal classes I'm having acupuncture to see if it helps with being induced and making the cervix more favourable.

Really looking forward to Sunday now and I know that it's no guarantee that we'll meet our baby girl on that day it's definitely making all of this more worthwhile.

I did find out that my cousin in Oz is also being induced on Sunday at 8pm for the same reason as me gestational diabetes. Seems we've got a bit of a family race on to see who will give birth first, haven't heard of anyone taking bets yet but you never know lol.

My girlfriends are an amazing bunch and they organised a surprise baby shower for me last Sunday and even set up Skype so that my parents and sister could be involved too. It was an amazing afternoon and so thoughtful of them, they're the main reason I'm reluctant to leave the UK.

Also found out that my nieces are so excited about having a 'proper' cousin that when they went back to school yesterday I was a part of DN2s Holiday News and DN1 couldn't stop telling her friends.

Sorry it seems all about me but I can't for the life of me remember anything, please tell me my braincells will recover lol.
