I got signed off work at 32 weeks and haven't done any call out or overtime since June but somehow I got call out and ot payments the last 2 months in pay. I'm not complaining!

I'm also forgetting the size of my bump, a few time I've opened the fridge door and caught the corner on bump and silly things like bending over a chair to wipe the table. Like Timeflies with feeling inflexible, I appear to have lost my hypermobility, not that I'm complaining but it would be nice still to be able to do things that I used to, within reason!

  • Last week of work hooray. I will be 34weeks on thur got health visitor doing antenatal visit tomorrow once home from school pick up and I have midwife app Wed afternoon. Feel like am finishing early but next week is half term here n wanted time with ds n then wasn't worth working one more week.

Got couple babysits booked in as I do ad hoc maternity night nanny and babysitting work but not doing any after beg Nov.
  • What vile weather think winter is coming wore jeans to work office based all week except Wed n Fri n will wear linen trousers then I do have one pair maternity work trousers but they r over bump n so uncomfy need to pull up to boobs otherwise crotch drags down on them I am surprised as next long is what I always wear but these seem badly bad.

Roast turkey thigh in oven one bonus working hrs over 5 days is after picking up ds we r home at 3.30 whereas 4 days we were home at 5pm so no midweek roasts

Evening ladies! I agree about bending down. It really winds me, puching baby right up into my mungs I suppose.
Never realised how much I have to bend down until it becomes pretty difficult. Ive tried to explain to my 3 boys they have to help me, and keep their things from lying around on the floor. The threat that anything I find on the floor will be claimed as mine and confiscated seemed too make them listen!
I can't wait to get rid of all the maternity stuff> Im just living in my pairs of h&m leggings now. Anyone try any of the Aldi stuff the other day? I got a feeding bra, but they had over the bump leggings and a few nursing tops too I considered but then forgot about. They might have gone half price now!
LBM January 2017 £34k will have paid back finally by my DFD May 2021
got my first store card on my 18th birthday, never known a life without the grey cloud of debt looming over me. 18yrs and the end is finally in sight 🤩
  • Angela I didn't buy as refuse to buy anymore maternity stuff but wanted to get a new feeding bra as from size of boobs am sure not going to be any bigger than last time so have a couple but wanted a fresh one will send husband in as he works near aldi.

Angela and Freebie- a new maternity shop has just opened in my town selling lovely clothes, have been tempted but seem to have bought loads already and it is such a waste knowing it won't be worn afterwards.
I will also need to buy new normal clothes once the baby is born, as I threw out a lot of my old stuff.

Enjoy the last week of work Freebie

Pity post alert: (sorry for boring those on the facebook group who have already had me moaning) went to the hospital about my swollen gum - they ended up removing the lump. I freaked out about this and ended up crying loads - don't even know why and don't think they could understand it either!! Feeling bad too having avoided all medication throughout pregnancy to now have a local anaesthetic today and now be on paracetemol for the pain for the next few days.
Also thinking if I freaked out at something minor, how on earth will I cope with labour?!??
  • Hi all,

Did not read through all previous messages but wishing that all of you are doing well.

I had my 2nd growth scan last Friday where the baby is now measured at improved growth than last time. Two weeks back the abdominal circumference was at 3rd percentile but now it's at 30th percentile. I m happy about the improvement.

As the baby shown improvement consultant will now see me every two weeks with scan. If baby is progressing then they will let me prod along until due date if any week there is any problem then c-section to get the baby out.

Just hoping that I can continue for atleast 35 weeks. Currently I m 31 weeks.

    Hi ladies,

I'm a que jumper! Amy Grace born on Sunday 12th by emergency c - section after my waters started leaking on Saturday. She was transverse so no chance of a natural delivery. Only 37+2, so she is a tiny 5lb 9oz of absolute perfection! Daddy and I are smitten already and can't wait to get her home. We're still in hospital as we're both on IV antibiotics and feeding is a struggle but we're getting there.

Sorry I haven't been active much, crazy busy time at work/home and now baby to be getting to know!

Hugs to everyone, will post more soon. X
