Island girl, you did the right thing going in. I've been a couple of times with reduced movement and it really helped put my mind at rest and they're keeping an eye on me. Good they're looking after you too. Hope all is well with the bpNo longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000

The midwife was so lovely she said always go in if unsure of anything better to be safe.£10,000 to go to a debt free life0 -
Just been for consultant app they were running hr behind they were more than happy to do c section but wanted another scan to check placenta n didn't want to wait 2weeks for my booked scan so booked me in today which meant mad dash to move car n find new parking, pornographer was lovely when she knew I was medical professional she went into huge detail. Baby is top of all centiles. Then had to see consultant again n clerk said now a 2hr wait I said please tell me I haven't got to wait it should be a quick 5min job as placenta position doesn't affect section n he agreed to speak to doc n only waited 20mins n avoided glares from waiting area.
Bonus is don't need to go for scan in 2weeks, baby is healthy if a chunky monkey and c section all booked. Ohh n driving around found a new sandwich shop n had a yummy chicken mayo roll.
Biggest bonus first parking place was Morrison's max 2hrs n was over by 5mins n no ticket n after much trying ended up in cinema for second part max 5hrs but signs are more scary looking n was only in there 90mins but no ticket again.
Am knackered though have probably walked 2-3miles today.0 -

I've spent a few hours today cuddling an 11 week old baby, even while she fell asleep in my arms. Bump was doing a fair bit of moving whilst she was asleep on me so here's hoping it helps bump go down a bit!No longer ...tobe! Huge congratulation LailaP, A beautiful name by the way.
Last Friday I had my blood test to check my glucose levels and yesterday when I reached home found an urgent appointment to attend GTT test today. Mad rush in morning to inform work on time and attend the appointment.
I read online that they give some horrible sugary drink but for me luckily its the Lucozade so no problem. report will take 2-4 days so waiting game.
Had my Whooping cough and Flu vaccine at once on Wednesday everything well after that no side effects.
So scan tomorrow again to check my placenta function to see why the baby's abdominal circumference is small I am armed with questions to speak to my consultant later. fingers crossed that everything goes well.

Congratulations LailaP!
Lol at your experience with the pornographer freebiequennie :rotfl: What date will your c section be? It's a bit of an adjustment, form not knowing when baby will arrive, to having an appointment to meet them!
I've been off sick today - had some fainting episodes, so have been taking it easy, reading some of the stuff on that pregnant chicken site lilmissreading - I liked the sound of the 44 minute labour with no contractions!
We went for our hospital tour yesterday, but it was cancelled after we got there, because all the rooms were busy, so we're rebooked for a fortnight later - will have to watch the Apprentice on catch up
Our first baby item is on its way - the pram!0 -

:hello: lotti! I felt the same when I joined. I'm currently enjoying mat leave and not quite ready for my wee one yet.
FYI It's a full moon a week today
:rotfl: freebiequeenie like everyone else that made me laugh out loud! Glad all else was good and you have a plan. I think that's the advantage of a planned c-section isn't it? You get to know when they will be here.
Timeflies - glad it heped pass the time! Just a bit of stuff and nonsense. Hope you feel better soon. Is the first Apprentice in a fortnight? Saw the advert for it.
Loveactually - all the best witih your results for everything *fingers crossed*
MrsC - the only time bump objected to all my baby holding recently was when it was a 7 week old boy. Fine with me holding girls :rotfl: jealousy or trying to make friends?!
Most importantly congratulations Laila P :jMet DH to be 2010
