Welcome newbies! And especially angeltreats from the LTTTC thread. :) Always lovely to see another graduate.

Alioops and Mrs_c - hugs for hard days. I honestly don't know how you are coping with working. I can't imagine it anymore, especially commuting there and back.

teabag - great to have a date! Makes it all very real.

I went and had my whopping cough vaccine today, which apparently also includes diptheria and tetanus (and possibly something else). As always I have had zero side effects! I'm am a machine when it comes to medical treatments. ;)

Does anyone struggle to really accept that soon we will have babies? I think as I've been told from about 20 weeks to be ready for the baby in 'weeks' I've been on tenterhooks for so long I'm starting to feel like it will never come! And doctors made such a fuss, so I'm off work so early, people are worrying about me, and yet I'm still quietly plugging away. Makes me feel like a fraud! But I guess he will pop out at some stage. I can't help thinking it will be at 39 weeks with zero dramas, and all this fuss will have been over nothing.

And my Mum is over in 2 weeks, so if the baby goes close to term she will be leaving as it arrives!! I know the longer the better, but it does feel like nothing will ever actually happen. Stupid I know...

We are off to Portsmouth tomorrow for a night. Our big adventure! Hopefully will get to see some sea, and fresh ai if only for 24 hours. :)

    Hi all

Not sure if someone has already mentioned this but at Asda they have the Tommee Tippee closure to nature newborn starter sets on offer down from £30 to £15. You get 2 x 150ml bottles, 2 x 260ml bottles (all with slow teats), 1 x bottle & teat brush, 2 x dummies and 2 x medium flow teats. I picked 2 up today.

thanks! We went to have a look and bought.

Mrs C that's just what i think my work would be like. Left on time today and managed to get to lazy daisy class without a rush and left feeling super tired but in a relaxed way. Get to start proper classes in September now and have antenatal hydro to keep me going. Grr work.

View - forgot to say re movement that I feel the most between 9-12 in the evening on my left side with the occasional squirm at lunchtime. Unusually he was having a fiesta though 3 days last week and I felt him a fair amount when sitting and today he kicked the top under my ribs so hard I had to move back from the desk where my bump was (I thought) safely enconsed underneath. It would have been 29 weeks for me that this has started to happen.

    alioops boo for being overwhelmed

The mirror never fails to take me by surprise! I can't get my head around the fact that there will be a baby soon. Scarily soon!

Saw mw today. She thinks baby is head down too but head free just to left of pelvis. Have to get myself a ball to bounce on. She's coming to my appointment with consultant next week to see when they're going to induce me and if they'll allow her to start membrane sweeps at 37 weeks... That's only 18 days away!!!

MrsC take care of yourself! xx I hope the work plans come together and the workload is shared/ reduced for you as they'd planned/ promised. If it doesn't though take the options that are available to you. xx

 RMR nice to 'see' you on here too.

T2D and lilmiss I've started not being able to judge the distance between my bump and doors, tables etc so that's what has done it for me. I've only just stopped trying to suck in my belly too :rotfl:.

Back in work today with no tears from me. My manager has said that we'll have a chat this afternoon so she'll probably tell me off for getting myself worked up and feeling overwhelmed without telling her but hey who knows when a breakdown is going to occur when pregnant.

Anyways onwards and upwards I just have to remember that I don't get paid enough to get stressed about work not being done and if the sh*t hits the fan after I leave it's not my fault.
