Hi daisie. Would it be ok for me to join your group? I am a bit stuck between the two as I've been on the 2013 group for some time but they're all ahead of me. I'll pm you my email.

Try not to worry too much about baby's movements. Mine was very erratic before 30 weeks, some days I didn't really feel much at all. Even now she has quiet days and busy days. Glad the hospital are looking after you though, good luck for your scan x

  • Daisie- i've left the other group. Think it was my fault they got a deluge of us but can understand where they were coming from. Like some others it was lovely to see how the old timers/ graduates were getting on with their little ones. If you need any help in setting up a group let me know- think they had a few admins on their board as it got quite busy! I'll PM you my email.

I have apologised to them all as some were concerned about safety/ privacy etc. so hope they get to see it now have left group- not sure how it works! If any are lurking here and my apology isn't there please can you let everyone know i'm sorry! Also could you ask any admin to remove me from the list? Totally forgot! :) Also to anyone here who joined/ left through my invites i'm sorry! I had no idea that the group was restricted so sorry for any awkwardness I may have inadvertantly caused you!

Don't worry tcod :) We will have our own lovely group! I do understand entirely where they were coming from about privacy etc although in my hormonal state I initially felt really upset to read the message on there. I just thought I'd better leave straight away!

I am struggling to create the group without someone to add to it, and it doesn't seem to be letting me add people by email addresses - only from my friends list! Does anyone mind me adding them as a friend just so I can get the group rolling? We can always delete each other after the group is going if we want to!!

I wouldn't worry TCOD - seems it was coming to a head anyway. It's also not quite right stage wise, as there are so many babies there, whereas we are all still a way behind. There is plenty to stress about in-pregnancy already!!

Daisie - can you add me? I'm PM you my email address.

Anyway, went to my doctors appointment today. I really find the doctors (as opposed the specialist consultant I normally see) really annoying. He told me that the prematurity clinic were 'clueless' as I clearly had no cervix as I'd had a trachelectomy, and to even talk about cervical length was stupid.

He said 'do you even know what that surgery is?'. I considered smacking him in the face, but decided the more english approach was to smile politely. Last time I saw the doctors there the guy I saw (someone else) had no idea about the type of cerclage I had, and asked if I had it done awake as day surgery. This is a surgery which has me in hospital 3 nights and a 5 inch cut across my tummy.

Anyway, this guy has now decided I am too big and to do a growth scan when I have my GTT at 28 weeks. I think he decided that the moment he saw my chubby self, regardless of how the baby looked. My urine test was clear for sugar and protein. So now I feel fat and rubbish, and unsure of who is really looking after my care as I get further along.

Baby looking good though! Got a quick look. :)

I ended up in MAFAU yesterday afternoon after feeling no movements all day. They found the heartbeat ok, all checks on me (including internal exam - getting very used to those!) were fine but she still didn't move even with the Doppler on - she normally kicks at it like crazy. They wanted me to go back in this morning at 8.30am to listen in again. I'm glad I have the appointment as she is STILL not moving - well over 24 hours now without feeling a thing. This is not normal for me....I have been feeling strong, regular movements since around 18 weeks and kicks that can be felt from the outside since 20 weeks. I HATE not feeling her, it feels like I'm empty.

Sure she is ok as the heartbeat was fine but it is just rubbish not feeling anything after feeling so much so regularly. Still, I'll see what they say at the hospital this morning.

I am another struggling with the heat. I sent hubby a grumpy text yesterday saying if we ever have another baby I am NOT being pregnant in the summer again! Hay fever is really bad too.

I have been having really nasty dizzy spells for the last few days. They are different to the dizzy/fainting spells I have had before due to my low blood pressure...it is just the room spinning, without feeling faint too. I suspect it is to do with hay fever and being bunged up and so on but I think I might mention it at the hospital this morning. I didn't say anything about it yesterday because I didn't think it was relevant but I suppose I should let them decide what is relevant!

Sorry to not reply to personals today. As usual I am too obsessed with my own problems! I should get a chance later, but in the meantime, hugs to those who need them and hope people feeling bad (either physically or mentally!) can have a rest today and feel better.
hope she move too have you tried drinking ice cold water and lying down?
