Oh you poor thing! What's the next steps mary? Are waiting it out? Since you've been leaking for a couple of days do you not need checking out (or is that not part of your plan)? xx0

hi, I rang the assessment centre earlier and they said that everything sounds ok and to keep the appt for tommorow morning. I have to ring at 7:30am to see if they are able to keep the 9:30am appt - it depends how many women they see through the night.
The appt is for an induction or to talk about an assessment plan. I don't want to have an induction as I am very scary of the process due to what happened to me when i was younger, so I will be preferring the assessment plan and let her come naturally.
I also want to have a water birth, and I understand that that isn't possible if you are induced. I'm trying the old wives remedies to see if she moves on her own tonight, if not we will keep the appt in the morning and see what happens from there!

Good luck Mary, I hope she comes soon and you don't need induction. I think you can have a water birth with the pessary but not with the drip. Thinking of you tonight!:A :heartpuls June 2014 / £2014 in 2014 / £735.97 / 36.5%0

Hi ladies, have posted on the FB group already, but just to let you all know Constance May was born 20th May at 39+2, weighing a healthy 8lb11. We're home and recovering well, completely in love with her even though she did stay awake until 6am last night!
Lots of love and labour vibes to those still waiting to meet their babies xTeam Pink! Baby girl due 25/5/140 -

Mary you can have a water birth with induction as long as they don't have to break your waters for you. However I believe you can't have a water birth if you're more than two weeks overdueDon't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Well hello ladies,
I have been meaning to write this for quite a while but just never quite got around to it. Baby Olivia was born on the 13th May (39+6) at 11.55pm (5 minutes before her due date). It was a very quick labour (arrived at the hospital and 45 minutes later had Olivia) but very straight forward apart from the fact she was delivered in her waters, which is meant to be very lucky. As I laboured so quickly I didn't manage to get the Strep B antibiotics in time and so Olivia ended up having the 2 day course. Tests then revealed inflammation markers in her blood so this then got extended to 5 days. We eventually arrived home last week. On the plus side I got plenty of help with breastfeeding and was feeling very confident about it by the time I got home.
Olivia is absolutely amazing, is settling in very well and has already wrapped us around her little finger. Sending out labour vibes to everyone that wants them xxx0 -

We got home yesterday, but I haven't touched my computer until now, and my mother's just arriving so I'll be quick now and post a photo and more details later.
When I posted to say I was in false labour, events turned out to prove me wrong - and so having started labour about 6pm on Sat, OH Isaac and I went to hospital on Sunday afternoon and it was definitely labour by then.
He's lovely, gorgeous, utterly wonderful, and has fair skin, reddish-brown hair, and is altogether rather sweet. I accept I'm a wee bit biased, but still in post-birth euphoria!
Did manage VBAC, by the skin of our teeth, forceps delivery with C-section about to follow immediately, which fortunately wasn't needed.
Hope my due-date-buddies Mary and Vicky are happy and healthy too.
Just wanted to wish my due date triplet congratulations and sorry it has taken me so long xxx0 -

Marywooyeah - I really hope you are not going to be pregnant for very much longer. She really is making you wait isn't she bless her. I am keeping my fingers crossed and hoping you go into labour before your induction. I am going to keep lurking xx0
