Uni club - how's the writing going today? Just got some bits to do on another job this morning and then I get to move on to viva prep finally :j It will be a relief to start.
Hope you make good progress
I am now 1,061 words into 3,000. Most of this morning has been spent finding some good journals and doing two washing loads and putting washing out on the line.
I am now stuck. So I won't be continuing today. I don't know how to get to the next stage of my essay.....should be interesting but I aimed to write 250 words a day since Monday and I have done that. Tomorrow might be a bit harder!3 Children - 2004 :heart2: 2014 :heart2: 2017 :heart2:

Bella I am really sorry to hear about Joshua, is he doing ok?
Lush what a pretty name! Is it pronounced like key-ar-ra or see-air-ra? Sorry I didn't know how best to sound it out lol!
I fear you might be right. Not what I want, but what I can see coming!
I think it's Chee-are-ra, but I could be wrong....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

I have decided I hate gas and air, everything is quite jumbled in my head and I'm aware I was babbling a lot of pointless stuff - constantly asking for ice lollies/ice cream and complaining about being too hot. I can remember pushing/the sensations though which is nice to know. I also got a second degree tear so have stitches...think I'm just overly aware of them at the moment.
Bf's mum was with me for a lot but left for the actual birth which wasn't planned. Initially I had wanted it to be just me and bf but was glad of the support in the end. Think my mum is a tad upset at being so far away (40mins drive, 20 mins on the train when dad isn't around) as she has said she feels like she has let me down or something but I've told her to stop being silly as she is super supportive and I know I can call her any time etc. She is coming up tomorrow on the train to spend time with us, plus bf needs to do some training so it will just be me, her and cj for a bit too :-)marywooyeah wrote: »Lush what a pretty name! It's pronounced the same way as Kiera as in Kiera Knightly; its just a different spelling (gaelic /Irish as that's part of her heritage)
Congratulations Bellola - sorry to hear about the birth being so tough but hope you are both doing well and making progress************************************

I've not meant to alarm you, for some reason I just feel it. Having said I think I might be last now I'm wondering if I'll even make my due date, she's so low down and I'm getting a lot of pains!
Mrs TM how sweet of you to post the vouchers I'm sure someone will be able to use them, how are you? Xx
Lush thats a really nice spin on the name, hope she's settling in well xxx0 -

I really hope you are right. I am terrified of going overdue due to the fact that I feel like I will be more likely to have a 10lb-er. Something in my head is convinced I will be overdue. Saying that I was convinced I was having a boy, however, turned out he was a girl
Bellola - congratulations on your little bundle of joy. Really he hope he recovers soon and all is well x
Today I have finally finished emptying some of the kitchen cupboards to fill the newly shelved pantry. It was just a storage/junk room before. It means there is now some much needed free cupboard space in out tiny kitchen. I've taken the opportunity to really clean the kitchen and tomorrows plan is to organise and clean the inside of the kitchen cupboards.0 -
I'm fairly convinced I'll be overdue too - I was last time, my Mum was with her 4, my Granny was - and because of my last section, they won't let me go overdue or be induced. So although I'd rather not, good chance I'll have another section....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

Congrats on the recent births!Uni club - how's the writing going today? Just got some bits to do on another job this morning and then I get to move on to viva prep finally :j It will be a relief to start.
I'm slacking today, but I have only been home from work 30 mins. I'm working til 7 tomorrow too so will probably write my lesson plans at weekend.
AFM had my 28 week appt today... blood taken (and bruised me!), whooping cough jab administered (arm a bit achy!) and bump measured. Apparently a bit on the big side, but nothing of concern yet x0 -
38 + 3 today, was my last day at work. So impatient waiting for this baby! Been having mild contractions on and off for over a week now, sigh, but no real progress. MW examined me at my last appointment as per my request. Very uncomfortable :O said cervix was soft and effaced. Wrote down that she performed a sweep but not sure how she could have done that if I'm not dilated, lol?
Anyway, hope you are all well and congrats on the babies that have been born! Hope Joshua gets well soon xxNew single Mum & student Nurse working for our future.

I've got us a place on the free NHS antenatal classes, yay! Husband isn't fussed either way between those and the NCT ones, so I won't waste the money on paying for him to be grumpy. He's already grumpy though as the NHS are during the day so he'll have to take leave, 3 days, 2 hrs each day... Kind of gauling to be honest as he several hours of worked Unpaid overtime of twice this week alone. The lady was nice and let me book for May as June (where I should be) wouldn't finish until 10 days before my EDD.Please forgive the badly spelt alias...
