Congratulations Lush. It is a beautiful name. I am keeping my fingers crossed that my labour is that quick. Hope you are both doing well
I can't believe that puts me at 22. It feels unreal that soon I could be under 20!!!

Congratulations Lush - love the name
Rather than iron tablets, I was recommended Floradix - it's a liquid supplement rather than a tablet (and the taste takes a bit of getting used to) but seems to have far less side effects than iron tablets. I think because the iron is extracted from vegetables it's easier to absorb as well.

It was the lady running the NCT group that said this - not medical advice, so check it is the right levels - but hoping it will be better for those of you who the iron tabs don't suit x0 -
I got quite anaemic too, at least partly because I'm still being sick and my diet's limited. My doc recommended a liquid stuff called Feroglobin, which I find easier on the stomach than the pills....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0

33 weeks this week and went to my first antenatal class with hubby yesterday. Learnt all about breastfeeding, think we broke the ice as hubby started comparing it to milking cows and the like!
The best comment he came out with was that he'd accidently drunk some colostrum as there were a couple of jugs in the fridge (his parents were dairy and now beef farmers), and there was a whole conversation about what it tasted like. Next week is taking baby home, so he's coming to that too, I dread to think what he'll come out with then!0 -
My top ever tip for breastfeeding is to keep drinks handy.
I found a very strong desire to drink soon after starting each feed, so having water where you can get at it is very handy....much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0 -

Just a quick one to say that Joshua Jack was born at 3.05pm on 23/03. An attempted forceps delivery went wrong resulting in an emergency section & damage to his skull. It is hoped that he will make a full recovery but we will be having follow up appointments in the next few weeks.
Congrats to all the other new mummies & hope everyone else is ok.0 -
Congratulations! Hope is all well with baby Joshua very soon...much enquiry having been made concerning a gentleman, who had quitted a company where Johnson was, and no information being obtained; at last Johnson observed, that 'he did not care to speak ill of any man behind his back, but he believed the gentleman was an attorney'.0
