Congratulations lush! I just filled up when I read your post - I'm so emotional right now!

I have another question for you lovely ladies ... thirst... anyone else thirsty alllllll the time? Since Thursday I cannot seem to quench it - think I will call the midwife team but don't' want to be a nuisance and wanted to check to see if i'm the only one?

Also - someone mentioned Iron tables earlier - they make me ill too - I cut down to one a day but had a phone call after my last bloods were taken telling me I had to take 2 as my Iron stores were 7 and they should be 30

Aww Lush huge congrats on the birth of your little girl!!! Sounds like labour was nice and quick, hope everything went smoothly.

Sam and Sunshine, sounds like we need a Uni supporters club Sam I found writing a little every day was a great approach, it builds up much more quickly than expected and keeps everything fresh in your mind. Hope you two are not too knackered.

Firey I got my bloods taken after my last appointment at 26 weeks (they are all out of kilter as my GP surgery messed me around), and turned out to have low iron. It was a surprise as at the 16 week appointment the midwife was telling me how good they were! So I have been on the dreaded iron tablets for a few days now (but just one per day). I take them with dinner but they do give me a stomach ache Jen, could you try upping your green leafies and red meat to get some iron that way?

I have been eating more greens and trying to force red meat down - I always loved meat but lately it does not appeal to me at all lol
