Well. After my growth scan on Thursday I was booked in for a Doppler and ctg (I think that’s what it’s called) today.
They said baby’s growth was static which isn’t what I understood last week.
Anyway.
Fluid, placenta and movements all good.
I’m going back for monitoring tomorrow and weds then scan on Thursday and I’m being induced Friday. Bang on 37 weeks.
To say my head is spinning is an understatement. Hubby won’t be here for the birth as he works abroad and can’t get back any quicker.
So the next few days are going to be a blur of hospital visits and making sure I’m organised.0 -
Arr best of luck Munchin, keep us all updated. Are they all at the hospital? (Just semi preparing myself as I’m like 40 mins away so will be a pain if I have to go every few days):T:T  :beer::beer: to the lil one

Yeah. I feel as if I live there at the minute. It’s only 15/20 mins for me so not a problem.
It hasn’t sunk in yet that I’m having a baby let alone having one in a few days.
Just want to check I’ve got everything sorted now.0 -
Munchkin, all the best for later this week, do you have a good birthing partner seeing as your husband isn't going to get back in time?
I'm lurking around too. 31 weeks today! We started NCT yesterday and all the couples seem really lovely, it's a very condensed course 6 sessions in 3 weeks but we'll be done by Christmas.0 -
My mum is coming with me.0

Good that your mum is coming with you Munchkin. Sounds like they are doing everything they can be for you, it'll be lovely once baby is here and you know he is safe. When does your husband get back?
Glad things are going well for you NelliePie. We are also renovating the house. We are just doing babies room at the moment, hopefully it'll be done in the next 2 weeks and then it's a break until later next year when we'll do the hall/landing/stairs, loft bedroom and en suite and our bedroom. Kitchen is an extension job so will be a little while yet! But I have a nice living room, dining room, DSs room and bathroom so far! House is still a tip though with all the dust and tools!
I think we have the same due date HopHop. I made some great friends through NCT, had them over for mulled wine (non alcoholic obviously) and a film on Friday!0 -
I had another ctg this morning. Baby kicked me to death. So all is good. Another one tomorrow.
Husband should be back within two weeks ish.0 -
Husband is coming home!!!! Will be home Friday.0

Munchkin I'm glad you've got the supprt from your mum - I can't imagine doing it alone. And that's great news about your husband coming home! Hopefully He'll be home in time on Friday for the induction - even if not right at the start hopefully he'll be there for the arrival - I'll keep my fingers crossed for you
Rambosmum - we're in a similar situation - currently doing our room and the babies room. We've recently had the whole central heating and all radiators replaced and the bathroom ripped out and started again (both finished). We've got 2 weeks until due date to get the two bedrooms done then there's the hall/stairs and and other bedroom/office. We're lucky the kitchen, utility and living room are fairly decent (read:livable for now).
I had my 38 week appointment today and baby is 3/5ths engaged and in a good position, kicking away with a good heartbeat. The past couple of days I've felt a bit nauseated - like the start of morning sickness again. The midwife thinks its hormones gearing up for the big day so isn't convinced I'll make it to my 40 week appointment but has booked me in for a sweep just in case.
HopHop - honestly my husband and I found the classes so incredibly useful! Especially in comparison to our minimal and rushed NHS classes - I'm not having a dig at the NHS they're doing what they can with what little time and funding they have. Like Rambosmum, I also found the friendship group one of the best parts. I hope you enjoy them!
Hope you're all doing well, have a great weekLittle One born 19/12/18
