    Enjoy the rest Munchkin.

I'm 30 weeks today. Feel like I'm on the home stretch now and all getting very real. Feel like I should pack my hospital bag, or at least start!

I've started stripping the wallpaper in the nursery, that should be done by the end of this week then I can start painting next week! Got the furniture in the garage so hoping to have it done by Christmas, then I can relax. 3 weeks 4 days left in work, but I've got 2 days off in that time so really only 3 weeks 2 days. Seems to have come around very quickly!
  • I’ve got the cot being delivered today and the bedroom furniture that has been unavailable for a couple of months came back in stock today and I managed to find a discount code to get 20% off, saving over £100.
    That will be here Saturday.
Got a maternity photo shoot weds which I really don’t want to do but it’s a free package with that and a newborn shoot that a local photographers are offering.
The last few weeks at work will fly by Rambosmum.

Sounds like a good deal. We got everything second hand for DS (except the mattresses and car seats) so have done the same this time, and this one is having DSs cot anyway. I didn't buy nursery furniture last time, just 'normal' furniture so DS still has that in his room with a new big boy bed.

I think we'll do a newborn short with this one. Didn't with DS and I regret it a bit.

I'm worried the last 3 weeks will fly by, I've got loads to do!
  • Yeah we didn’t buy nursery furniture. Didn’t see the point in buying then needing to buy again later. Plus nursery wardrobes are tiny
  • Had another growth scan today (35+6) baby measuring small but still growing. Fluid and placenta are ok. He’s very wiggly.
The doctor I saw today could see I was upset as I’m still worried that something will go wrong.
She sat and explained things and said that measurements can be wrong and there are a lot of positives. Which made me feel better.
During the scan baby showed us he’s definitely a boy, put his head on his head, I could see his hair and he was wiggling his feet around.
Having a Doppler scan on Monday and I think they’re scanning me again next Thursday.
    Hope everyone is well x

I'm glad the doctor gave you some reassurance. Small but growing is good.

I've got to have bloods today ready for my consultant appointment next week.

Got a bit of back ache and shattered but nothing out of the ordinary, just on count down to finish work - 3 weeks and counting.

Just to reassure, yes they can be wrong.

I was told eldest was small, would be lucky if he was any more than 5lb and quite short in length. He was 7lbs 15oz (would have topped 8lbs if he hadn't let go of his bowels on the way to the weighing machine) and the longest baby they had seen in the maternity unit for years (56 cms)

With youngest they told me he was going to be my biggest baby yet...he was 6lbs 8oz and 48 cms.

They didn't have an opinion on middle son apart from that he was a pain in the bum not wanting to be head down, just sideways and breech!
We made it! All three boys have graduated, it's been hard work but it shows there is a possibility of a chance of normal (ish) life after a diagnosis (or two) of ASD. It's not been the easiest route but I am so glad I ignored everything and everyone and did my own therapies with them.
Eldests' EDS diagnosis 4.5.10, mine 13.1.11 eekk - now having fun and games as a wheelchair user.

    Good Evening All

I am moving over from the 12-24 week thread - I am 25 weeks today :)

Everything is going well, although I am suffering from heartburn on a daily basis at the moment!

I hope everybody else is doing ok :D xx

Hello Lola. Looks like it's just me and munchkin on here at the moment. I'm doing OK. Very ready to finish work though!

    Hi
    Welcome Lola :)

I'm still here too! I do try to read as often as I can but don't usually have much time to reply, or have much to say really as this last half of my pregnancy has been quite straight forward. I'm 38 weeks tomorrow and don't have too much to report - just a bit of heartburn and swollen fingers but nothing too dramatic. We're still renovating our house so it still looks like a building site - hopefully it should be reasonably tidy by this time next week. I just hope baby stays put till then.

    Hope everyone is doing well
