Forgot to mention I've a pup that sleeps on the bed, I have two cats too, one sleeps IN the bed, the other in my step daughters room, on the top bunk as far away from pup as he can get! I've no idea how I'm going to stop my cat sleeping in the bed she's done it for 5 years!0

We also have a dog that sleeps on the bed. We had to put our other dog to sleep last year (a year ago yesterday) and since then she has been lost without him, they had been together for 9 years. She comes up with me every night and cuddles up to me and when hubby comets o bed she jumps downs and spends her night between one of the other rooms, living room kitchen, or our bedroom floor! Occasionally I wake to find myself sandwiched in the middle on the bed!!!!
The good thing is though is very obedient and will leave a room if you tell her to. Here's hoping she stays that way in a few months time!No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000 -
Oh Daisy, hope you are OK. Such a scary time. No pain is a good sign as Mrs_I said but terribly scary.monty-doggy wrote: »I've no idea why the colours didn't work
Glad the scan went well M-D! It's strange seeing them, hard to link that bouncy baby with feeling not a lot of the outside! Good on you for no checking on DS. in hindsight we rushed in without really thinking of the implications. Luckily all was fine, but in truth I don't know what we would have done otherwise. If there is a next time I think we won't check.
For the colours you have to 'quote' the previous person not copy it. Or just go back into your post and manually change the colours. Kind of needs to be done in your post or we lose them for everyone.0 -

What! Monty you were due on my birthday. Now you have a different date! What's that all about? Disgraceful if you ask me.
Thanks lilmissr for the app info. We're watching a couple of things.
We picked up some TT bottles at the A£DA event. Motherc4re are having a similar event. We're going to pick up a microwave steamer from there tomorrow.

Hi ladies, thanks everyone for the messages - really, means a lot.
Just got home. Whoever said I don't have a midwife I can contact is right. There were numbers for early pregnancy unit etc on my notes but when I called them they were all closed at 5! So I called my GP who eventually called me back and was very gloomy, said sounds like a threatened miscarriage, go to A&E if you are worried.
So I did, was there nearly 4 hours. They tested blood and urine, blood pressure etc, felt my tummy (but no internal exam). Basically said they can't scan me until morning as there is no one doing it overnight so go away, rest and they will call in the morning with a time for a scan. Blood and urine etc was all fine. If was a bit shambolic as at one point they lost my notes, another point they lost my urine sample, and although she sent for the bloods to have hcg levels tested that didn't happen so she had to send it off again.
Anyway I am home now and no idea how I will get any sleep tonight. Bleeding has definitely eased but I have quite a lot of crampy pain. Just hoping I can get a scan tomorrow.0 -
Completely stunned at your treatment by A&E, Daisiegg! I'm glad to hear you're home - a hot water bottle will help relax you and take the edge off the cramping (it used to help me). Glad to hear the bleeding is easing off - the cramping will be your uterus irritated by the blood and usually eases off in a couple of hours.
If they can't get you a scan tomorrow (although I'd stamp my feet and be rather insistent personally), ask if they can get a midwife to check you over with a doppler, just to put your mind at ease until they can get you a scan.
Try and stay positive, hon. *big hugs*

Oh dear, sending more hugs your way daisiegg x I'm sorry you're still in limbo hun but I'll keep you in my thoughts and hope that tomorrow brings good news for you x0
-
Daisiegg, so sorry they are messing you about and I have my fingers crossed that everything is OK.
When I had bleeding early on they called it a threatened miscarriage and I totally freaked out. That is apparently just the term that they use for bleeding so please don't focus too much on those words, bleeding doesn't always mean the worst.
Anyway my thoughts are with you and please keep us posted xx0
