Just de lurking to say sorry you had more bleeding mrs I but glad your hospital is being good. I had my baby on Saturday morning so you can definitely have bleeding and a baby! So the cause of my bleeding will always be unknown as it's not like they discovered anything during the birth!

Claire16c, thank you so much for this - it is so reassuring to hear you can have bleeding in pregnancy and still have a baby! Huge congratulations on the arrival of your daughter. :T Huge thanks again, really appreciate it - enjoy Grace Sofia!

Congrats clare16c on your daughter and Mrs I I know how worrying bleeding can be glad you're getting all the support and help you need. We had the 20 wk scan yesterday and descided that we didn't want to find out the sex as I want something to help me with the pushing at the end. Also I wanted to make sure the baby was ok and healthy. Having had a MC at 6wks previously I'm scared to get anything until I know the baby ok although doing some research on travel systems.

I'm similar daisiegg! My face spots have subsided a bit now but my back is horrific with backne  . So any spots and bumps I don't ever see them going! Never had this before. Proud of my growing bump though :) .
  • Congratulations Claire - lovely news!

Hope things are ok with you Miss I, the bleeding I had at 10wks was awful so continual on and off must be an emotional roller coaster for you both.

If anyone I'd updating list could someone add me please as no idea how to do on iPad!

Lollypopswater due date is 29/09/14 and 20wk scan is 13/05/14

    Thanks very much x

I feel so bad for those of you suffering with acne. I suffered for years with it and it really did get me down so much. I constantly avoided eye contact just so I would not know people was looking at me and seeing my vile skin!!

One week tomorrow and I should be able to find out the sex eeeekkkkk!!!

Hello I'm lurking from the earlier thread, has anyone had to have cervical stitches and if so can you tell me how you are doing, how long in hospital and how long off work? I can't find much online.
    Thanks

    Hi ladies,

I thought I'd dip my toe in the water of the second trimester thread, say hi and add myself to the list. I was umming and arring about when to move over but Purcy convinced me.

I'm guessing the second date is our next scan dates...

A bit about me: We're really excited to be parents to the first time. This is an IVF baby so will be under consultant led care, a bleed yesterday brought my scan forward but thankfully the baby was bouncing about. In addition to the bleed I've had a tiny bit of spotting a couple of times but the biggest pregnancy impact has been the pain. I have severe endo so I think it's caused by my internal scar tissue stretching.

I feel quite shy about telling friends. I suppose it's because so many people know already I want to keep it to us for a bit longer. Most people don't tell their boss the exact day they are going to get pregnant or that they intend to get pregnant at all. I did tell my nieces today. They were very cute. They don't have a cousin so don't really understand how it's different to their friends or second cousins.
