added myself, went for my quad test today, but midwife tried both arms and couldn't get more than a drop so I've got to ask while the proper blood person is taking some other tests next week, don't want to leave it too long because of timing deadlines. Just doesn't bode well if midwife can't get blood from me.
She tried to hear the heartbeat but she couldn't find it trying not to panic as she did warn 14 weeks may be a bit early, but assured me she should be able to find it next week. Fingers crossed, we both agreed that I will probably going to be her troublesome customer throughout this pregnancy lol. Also had to ask advice about constipation as I've really been suffering from it lately and it's making me feel horrible.
Hope everyone else is well.0 -
Naughty baby wouldn't get in the right position for the scan lady to get all the measurements even after a 15 minute brisk walk! So I've got to go back Tuesday.
Did find out I am team blue though :T I wasn't fussed either way but bf had a preference towards a boy so he is happy. Can someone update my colour on the next list update please? I can't do the colours I don't think!

Mrs I my colleague at work bled throughout her pregnancy too and gave birth to a healthy baby girl last week0

Congratulations cmace
Hope the bleeding stops soon Mrs_I.
I think I am starting to feel less tired - I've been staying up until 10ish in the evenings. Not sleeping particularly well as DH has a cold and a very loud snore, but I'm sure he'll quieten down soon. Either that or I'm off to the spare room0 -
Laila I highly recommend these leggings

Lasted me all of pregnancy and the first few days after birth too. Also they're nice and thick!First baby due 3/3/14 - Team Yellow! Our little girl born 25/2/140 -
Congrats Cmace
I am feeling much better too in the last few weeks Bluebell, must be true what they say about the second trimester.
I had my 16 week appointment with the midwife today and heard the heartbeat
I then went shopping for maternity work trousers as in the last few days my bump just seems to have appeared! It no longer disappears in the morning. Anyway I could not find any nice fitting ones anywhere, there are all really wide on the legs. I guess I will have to order online.0 -
Thank you everyone for all your kind words and support, it is much appreciated.
I am suddenly finding my jeans rather tight and having to use the good old hair bobble method to make wearing them bearable - can't wait to get some maternity jeans this weekend!
Daisiegg, any news on your blood test results??

sorry not been on much but not had much to report and been busy with trying to get through work.
sorry to hear about your bleeds mrs_I I know how scary they are from the massive bleed I had at 12 weeks. I hope it calms down for you so you can start enjoying your pregnancy.
Purcy I have serious bump envy mine doesn't look as good as that, I dont think I look that big but I cant fit into anything and have gained weight, bf says you can tell now so I guess I must have some sort of bump.
Cmace must be something about todays scans, I had mine today and we had a naughty baby too the woman said all she had had that morning had done the same too lol.
It was laid on its tummy curled with bum up in air and face down. No amount of me moving and her poking would shift them all it made baby do was wriggle their bum and shove their leg near their bum. Everything she could see was fine
Got to go back in 2 weeks so she can check that babys face is fine and see if she can get us a better scan pic.

Thanks for askingno, I phoned yesterday afternoon and they still weren't back from the Cambridge hospital. The midwife I spoke to said they take 10 days (though the one I spoke to last week said it takes a week!) so really they should definitely be back today as it was last Monday I went for the tests. I am fretting a bit - just want to know!
13 weeks today though, feels very exciting0 -
Just de lurking to say sorry you had more bleeding mrs I but glad your hospital is being good. I had my baby on Saturday morning so you can definitely have bleeding and a baby! So the cause of my bleeding will always be unknown as it's not like they discovered anything during the birth!0
