Hi!
I am 25 weeks on Saturday and so will be off to the big group *nervous*
I have not been online for the past week or so because we decided to go camping in West Wales!
I was determind that we could go and i think the words if i still can, i will and i'm opregnant not dying' were used!
I am only a shorty so i know i will find it difficult the bigger i get so i wanted to take advantage of the past week or so!
Hubby made everything lovely and made a double double height airbed, walking round the beach show less, fresh air, great company, just what i wanted! Oh and wriggles the bump seemed ok and got full marks at my midwife appointment to day
I hope everybodies pregnancies go smoothly and will see most of you there soon!

Pington and Carrot I think I would find out too if we were having twins! Pington glad you got an explanation on babies placentas - agree with the others, how awesome.
Always_Alone I hope your heartburn gets better soon
Tilly Ha, yes I am definitely the boss, she is a bit interfering already so….!
Mrs_T_M your travel system looks really good! We also want a car seat that fits in easily as we have a car each (sigh) plus I expect it will go out occasionally in my parents' car, I don't want to have to buy more than one car seat. Your bump is lovely and I am envious
missymoo welcome and good luck with your scan next week
Nicky Noo Na welcome back from your holiday! Glad you had a nice time. Hope your scan went well todayI've updated you on the lists. We are thinking about the uppababy vista too - I actually have already looked a couple of times  and my mum who has kindly offered to buy the pram for us has seen it too and approves of it
but we probably won't buy it til nearer to Christmas.
Princess kate welcome and congrats on your scanI have to have a GTT at the 28 week mark, as my brother is diabetic.
scmp I've taken you off the lists, hope that is okay. See you over on the next thread soon :T
Well I had my 20 week scan today as well, all good, we are staying team yellow as we planned :j The sonographer said that the baby had longer legs than average so taking after daddy already (my husband is 6'6")! I can't believe how much they can see on the scan, it's so detailed.
I don't have much of a bump yet although someone did comment on it at work today, I think it's mostly made up of cake! We have a wedding on Saturday but luckily I have already sorted my outfit. Then we are going to look for a few baby things on Sunday, and I am in desperate need of maternity tights. I have been offered some baby stuff by a work colleague and a friend, I don't really know that many people with babies so I feel grateful that I've got any offers at all!
Can't believe I'm third from the top

Aargh I'm top, how did that happen? Apart from having A very wriggly bump I'm in denial. As I'm having a second boy, we don't really need anything except stuff for me like breast pads and maternity pads etc. I keep walking past them in t€$co but then deciding not to buy them as if that would make it too real. Pregnancy I don't mind, labour doesn't bother me, it's all the stuff after the birth ( except the baby of course). Took me a few weeks last time as babies shoulders were awkward and I had to have stitches.Planning to be debt free by 11/20. MFW Jan 2028 - [STRIKE]86700[/STRIKE] [STRIKE]83057.20[/STRIKE]

Evening All,
I've not been on for a while, work has been hectic but I am feeling a lot less tired than I was. I do however have very blocked sinuses and lots of saliva which keeps making me gagapparently it is a pregnancy symptom so I'm just trying to get used to it.
We have our 20 week scan on Tuesday and are getting excited and nervous. We haven't bought anything yet but have been offered a cot so that is one thing ticked off the list. We've got a holiday booked in a couple of weeks so will look at what pram etc we want after that. I think we've decided on car seats but need to test them in our cars. I almost bought some vests in the Next Sale earlier but couldn't, I think I need the reassurance of the scan next week first.
Hope everyone is feeling ok? Or as well as can be, sorry I haven't done individual replies I can't remember anything at the moment! I can't believe how quickly time is passing - 4th on the list  xx2014 - This is Our Year :j0 -
Just thought I would mention if any of you are in that area, Emma's Diary have got 200 pairs of free tickets to give away for the Baby show in Manchester this weekend. Someone on the Less than thread mentioned before that they often give free tickets so I'm glad I didn't go ahead and buy when I first enquired. Manchester is too far for me though so hopefully they give away some tickets to the Bluewater show soon too.0

Is anyone else really really thirsty?
I tend to drink quite a lot of water anyway, but at the moment I get through about 8 pints a day and another pint or so overnight. And of course I have all the wees to go with it! I'm 16+5 with twins. Do you think that sounds excessive or pretty normal?0 -
Eeeeek scmp good luck on the nxt thread! It's like you're on the home stretch when you get to the last pregnancy thread!
Yay for a 20 week scan Sulphate, glad all is well! I remember being amazed at how much bubbas grown by 20 weeks as it no longer all fits on the scan.
I feel your pain Lottie, I'm more worried about how I'm gonna cope with 2, the one I currently have runs rings round me easily enough! How old is your ds?
Good luck for your scan Estateprincess, I'm sure all will be well.
No experience of thirsty-ness Pington but these little munchkins do like to toy with us!! Maybe with 2 you're body just needs a little but more, if you're craving it, you probably need it! (That's my excuse with all the crap food anyway; I neeeeeeeeeeed it!!)
As for me, think OH has passed his horrid man flu over, I feel like poo this morning, and gotta go to work in a bit
I'm beginning to worry that I'm going to have a 'B' bump again instead of a 'D' bumpserves me right for not losing a few pounds but I really really reaaaaaaaaally want a nice rounded bump! *stomps feet*
Hope you all have a fab day/weekend0 -
I agree with Always_Alone, Pington, if you feel thirsty your must need the fluid. I can't imagine the extra strain on your body with Twins, 1 Little Bean has changed my food/drink needs so much never mind 2! I think I do feel more thirsty than before, but it has been gradual so I've not really noticed.
I hope you get the bump you want Always_Alone! Mine seems to be coming along nicely (Fingers Crossed) so I'm hoping it's a 'D'!! My hips, however, have also got quite a bit bigger so I'm hoping I don't get as wide as my bump gets big!!!2014 - This is Our Year :j0
