I am 13.5weeks - is it normal for symptoms to ease off? Last time they did this to me was at 8.5weeks with mmc xx

congrats Tea - that is just brilliant, twins! :j so pleased everything is ok with tests too. Welcome to the:) thread

Fresh - my symptoms (i.e. tiredness cause I didn't have any others) disappeared around the same time and honestly I have felt great since then. Better than I normally do TBH! Am now 23 weeks so starting to get a few indigestion/sore back niggles, but touch wood so far they are not that bad.

Thanks for the info fresh, I think I will stock up as I have those vouchers too.
  • Thanks guys! It's very exciting and also very scary, I don't know how I'll cope with two newborns, but cope I will! I'm just trying to get the house sorted now while I still can, I'm already huge and the second trimester energy and glow hasn't arrived yet, instead I just have SPD and extreme tiredness, and I can hardly eat anything because my stomach is so squashed that I throw up if I eat too much.

Fresh- It is normal to find your symptoms ease off now as the placenta has taken over so your hormone levels should start dropping, hence less symptoms.
Working my butt off to buy the house of my dreams!

That's lovely that you're feeling things already! I still haven't, I think, felt anything 'proper'. Guess the little acrobat is just limbering up for the real deal ! :rotfl:

It won't be long for you now! I think it depends where the placenta is as to when you get to feel anything.

Welcome teaandcake! I'm sure you'll be absolutely fine with your twins. How exciting!

  • Anyone watch OBEM last night? I did for the first time ever, and found it quite emotional and not TOO scary.

Just can't quite associate myself with those women just yet. Surely I don't actually have to give birth, right?

Just redoing the list as Lixi lost the Li on her name and the pelvic floor message was missing.

Welcome teaandcakeaddict wow congratulations on twins.

RMR I've watched OBEM since it started but this series is just annoying me for some reason although didn't see last nights yet.

Emma's Diary also has an app.

It's the Aldi baby event starting today but looks like they only have nappies size 3 and upwards on special but still think we'll call in and have a look, it's sort of on the way home.
