12-24 weeks pregnant (part 3)

AFM - all well at last MW app, heard heartbeat which was lovely. Got our care plan as its an IVF pregnancy which involves at least two extra growth scans (28+34 weeks) and then I won't be allowed to go much over my due date, so delivery will be 'around term' as they call it. MW said something about its because in an IVF pg the placenta 'might' stop working normally later on so they keep a close eye on it. Any other IVF ladies on here had this mentioned to them?
Might ask on the big girl thread as I know there are some IVF ladies on there too.
Hugs everyone and sorry to those I've missed! Must go back and find the list, think there will be a few of us moving on up soon!
Hi SewIT, I am IVF ICSI and not had this mentioned. However not had consultant appointment yet, just two midwife checkups. Perhaps the consultant will mention this. I do know our CCG auto makes women whom have had IVF have a consultant led preganancy rather than just a midwife.0 -
Hi, quick question. How do you know whether to buy newborn nappies size 1 or size 2? Tesco currently have an offer for 75 newborn nappies for £8 so I am tempted, however, they're size 2 and I'm confused!0

You will need sz1 initially but within 2-4wks generally will move onto sz2.
Initially work on 10-12 nappy changes in 24hrs I promise this gets less.
I stocked up when had first n will with this one any nappies on offer I buy while on full pay! I brought right up to sz 5 last time not so many of that sz though I found we were in sz 4 longest. I wasn't brand loyal we used pampers huggies nature care all supermarket n boots own.
In your bounty pack you get a 50% off one pk aldi wipes or nappies I had 2 vouchers from different packs and brought sz 2 as seemed best value.0 -

We've got 4 boxes of size 1 nappies as I was confused too but figured if I get them first then get the size 2's we should be covered. Thanks for the info freebie.
View in the bounty pack that you got there should have been another leaflet for Bounty and it says to fill in your details and take it to your local blah blah shop to get another pack. I took my to Asda and it came with a pack of 10 Bibs from George as an added bonus. Just sift through all the junk and you should find it.DEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14:D:D:D:D

I think you can register online for bounty too. I got my pack at asda and it had lots of great stuff in it.i got my emma's diary one at boots and it had some good stuff, best bit was the Johnson's baby stuff.
Haven't even thought to get nappies yet. Was thinking of stocking up on things like washing power/conditioner and fairy etc on a full time wage. For those that are on their second, is this a good idea? X0 -
P.s - 10-12 nappies a day, oh my goodness, will need to get loads! Are the aldi ones good as I got the vouchers for them too?0

RMR - movement low down at first, then all over the place now. I can feel when the baby is sitting low down though not so much when its higher up. There will come a point when you just know its the baby as it can't possibly be anything else!
Yes, I'm definitely feeling movements now. Although it's not the gentle fluttering some are getting - it's actually a little painful at times!LBM February 2008. DFD March 2013 19 August 2011Debt at LBM £14,395.48. Debt Now £00
