    Well not wheel lol!

lol I sat here for a couple of moments wondering if that was a word from the ttc language that I wasn't aware of lol must be too early for me, actually it is way too early for me but I couldn't sleep any more. I wonder if this tiredness is starting to reduce? or maybe it's just my B12 jab kicking in.

thought I would ask those ladies ahead of myself in weeks, when did you start buying things for your baby? I don't know if it's too early to start now if I see any deals. what have you been doing?
  • I'm wondering the same lemon tree. Said the same to oh yesterday and he said oh we don't need to buy stuff for ages.....

My suggestion was after 20wk scan which I think he still thought was too early...!

  • Hi Everyone,

Sorry not been around much lately. How is everyone?

So I'm 19 weeks today and the last couple of days I think I've felt the baby move, even being able to feel it with my hand. Mainly when I'm lying flat in bed. I'm assuming its baby anyway.

In regards to buying thing I've just got a second hand cot, wardrobe and draws originally from mamas and papas for £150 so will need to buy a new mattress. Picking them up tomorrow. So far that's about it to be honest. We are in the process of moving so once we are moved in and I've had my 20 weeks scan then I will buy more. The nursery furniture was such a good price and only 10 minutes away I couldn't resist.

Are there many people on here that are not finding out the sex of the baby? I have my scan in under 2 weeks but won't be finding out, feel I'm an odd one out lol.

    Hope everyone's well.

Disney I'm not finding out either.
    I love surprises :j
  • Yay cc glad your not either. Everyone I speak to seem surprised I'm not going too.

I will be nearly 21 weeks by the time I have my scan. Can't believe I'm nearly half way.

I'm nearly 19 weeks & have my scan at 20+1
My MIL offered to pay for a 4d scan but I politely declined.
Yes it would help so I could buy gender specific clothes, bedding etc but at the same time I don't want anything baby related in the house until baby is here safe & sound.

I do have an notion that I'm having a boy but il know for sure in August lol!

Hi ladies wondered if you could advise me...I have secured a second hand pram on ebay for £300, its in immaculate condition and still has the original packaging. Its the icandy peach sweet pea including carrycot, raincover, umbrella and footmuff which have hardly been used. It does not come with car set though or changing bag. Is this a good dea at £300? I know this version is a few years old and there are newer ones out but they are likely to be alot more expensive and out of my price range plus I have fallen in love with the colour of this one, could anyone advise if this is a reasonble price?
