Ahh lovely
I really hope it starts more in the next couple of weeks! If you don't mind me asking, do you have a relatively flat tummy to begin with? I don't....I am fat to begin with so I worry I may never properly 'show'!
Yeah my tummy was fairly flat to begin with, although I used to be a couple of stone heavier so maybe I have weaker muscles from losing weight and that's why it's popped already?0 -
Oh just wanted to say I just got the dream genii pillow as I've been having trouble sleeping and my goodness is it amazing I had the best nights sleep last I've had in months!
hug to all
19+1
You look lovely Purcy, I have serious bump envy, mine is not as good as yours!
In regards to pillows, I got a Comfort U one off ebay and it's awesome, although poor hubby doesn't have much room now but hey, I'm comfy :rotfl:0 -

Bump envy! I just look like I've eaten all the jaffa cakes, mainly because I have eaten all the jaffa cakes I suppose!
I'm not telling anyone in work until they ask if I'm fat or pregnant so it'll be interesting when I start to show. Lol. Am having bets with my family as to when people will crack and ask me or if the stereotypical 'British' reserve will win out. Lol.

I only really started showing at 18-19 weeks, before then I was just paranoid that I looked like i had a big tummy!
I'm 26 weeks now and even last night was asking my OH before we went out 'can you definitely tell I'm pregnant now in this dress, not just fat?' haha. he was like don't be daft...it's not even like I was skinny in the first place, a 140 -
I'm 13wks tomorrow (although 12wk scan put me 2days ahead they're not going with that date given id already had a scan @ 10wks).
Wouldn't say I'm really showing at all - tummy wasn't exactly flat to begin with though! A little bit more rounded but not so you'd notice. Ordered maternity jeans and black trousers last night for when I need them but reckon it'll be a few weeks yet.
Purcy you look fab, that's a lovely baby bump!Baby on board - EDD 29th Sept0 -
Hello, i'm back from Portugal. Nice to see everyone who has come over from the less than 12 weeks thread
It was very tiring, but I had a good time and mostly good weather - just one colder day. I have a cold now though, so I'm going to try and get off to bed soon in the hope that I'll be feeling fit and ready for work tomorrow. I have a full day of assessing presentations to do! The food in Portugal really surprised me. I thought they'd be more into light meals but there were lots of soups and meat/fish and potatoes, stews etc.
I'm definitely showing already - got asked if I was pg two weeks ago by one of the students! I was very slim, flat stomach and now very definitely not , I can't fit into any of my 'normal' clothes other than a few loose fitting t-shirts and jumpers. Also I'm bigger as this is number 2 so my muscles are already stretchy.
Tesco had a baby clothes sale on so we bought a 3-6 month snowsuit today, our first baby shopping (and we probably won't need much else). Reduced to £4 from £14, so well worth a look at their sales for those of you expecting autumn babies
15+1 today.0 -
Fab bump purcy you look great. You have a better bump than I do, I'm jealous!!
I started showing around 20 weeks. I finally announced my pregnancy this week (at 23 weeks) and I think it's pretty obvious now but a lot of people were still very surprised. I'm 5'5" and was a 10 before I started expanding!
TCOD I did the same about telling people. Eventually (just the other week) a lady at work did just ask me straight if I was pg. that's how I knew it was time to fess up!0 -
Oh dear lord......I have piles! I'm only 16+4 :eek:0

In the last few days I only seem to show I the evening and then wake up with a flat tummy again. I am not sure if it that I am bloated or that the baby moves into my back at night??
Strangely enough my skin is now great! I had pretty bad and painful acne before conceiving and had been on tetracycline for about 18 months. When I got my BFP I came off them and had awful break outs for a few weeks but now my face is absolutely clear. My hormones must be opposite.0
