For the result did you get an actual figure or just high risk low risk if that makes sense?
I got a figure on the paperwork, but when I met them they said they would just say high or low risk.
AIUI it's actually pretty much a diagnostic test (although they say it is a screening test), so if they say high risk, then most likely the baby does have a problem. If they say low risk, then it doesn't. The 1:10,000 number they give you just reflects the risk that the test was performed incorrectly or there was a lab error.0 -
Oh Wendz what a terrible shock. Will you be with someone when you go tomorrow? This must be so so hard for all of you in your family. I really don't know what else to say and hope that the miscarriage thread on here can offer you support if you want or need it at any point. I feel like I want to say something that will make it better but that is ridiculous, as it is just a terrible situation. You will all, baby included, be in our thoughts.Met DH to be 2010

I just wanted to send lots of love and gentle heartfelt hugs xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
Whoever said about movements, yes I do get fluctuations in movement. A good tip is meant to be to eat or drink something cold if you want to feela wiggle as your digestion sytem is behind the uterus and will make them jog hopefully. Mine likes to (or is only noticed!) when I am sitting or lying.
Tinkwings - hope your day improved.
