I've never been so scared.
I can't help thinking that I've come this far and something must be wrong. That's probably really irrational but I can't help how I feel.
all the best monty. Just take a deep breath and what will be, will be. It's completely natural to feel nervous and scared and worried... just keep focussing on the wonder of it all and try to relax (I know, much easier said than done). You will be fine xx
and ps. it's absolutely ok to feel like this...0 -
Monty good luck for your scan xxIf you can think it........it will happen0

Good luck Monty. My first few scans I was terrified too - just waiting for something to go wrong. Hopefully we will hear from you in a few hours overjoyed with seeing your little bean!
Regardless though, you know we are all here to help and support you.0 -
Hope scan goes well monty0

Hello, thank you for all the support
All was fine! i panicked at first because it wasn't moving but turns out baby was just asleep! The sonographer had to really bash about to do all the checks but everything is fine
The woman who did it was horrible and made me feel like crap because I didn't bring money for the photos, every other time I've not had to pay and I put the only cash I had in the car park machine as it's £2.50 for an hour?????
Anyway on the way out she looked at my hands and said where's your photo voucher, I told her I'd already said I didn't bring any money and I'd come back for them later, she snottilly said well it's clearly written in your notes you can take the pictures as they are not very good, now if you would like to leave?
I've never felt so stupid! And yes the pictures were rubbish.
Ah well. At least I can relax now knowing that little one is safe and snug.
And I was so good and didn't ask the sex!0 -
Glad all is OK Monty. Sorry the sonographer was was rude! Is such a shame some of them seem to ruin the experience for people. You are right that the important thing is baby is healthy

Monty so pleased that everything went well for you during the scan and you stayed strong about finding out the sex but boo to the mean people do they honestly not realise that they're dealing with women whose emotions are running high as it is. Grr let me at em lol. There is a card payment machine at my hospital thankfully as that's how I paid for mine.
TOFT if I remember correctly time2deal had the Harmony Test done or possibly another lady but I do recall it being mentioned.
Tink ((hugs)) really hope the day has improved for youDEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14:D:D:D:D

Yes, I had the harmony test done. It was simply a blood test, and while I stressed like crazy before the results, all was well. Plus they told us the sex very early from the chromosomes.
Are you going to the Fetal Medicine Centre? They are excellent there and have fantastic sonography machines. I got amazing scans even at 12 weeks there, while at 20 weeks the NHS people didn't get great images. I'm tempted to go back for a scan just to have some nicer images!0 -
Glad all well Monty. It's horrible to have a sonographer that doesn't think how the lady feels. Hope you're ok and just so glad for you all is well.
Can I ask another question for everyone here... do you feel 'wiggles' every day? I had massive wiggles yesterday and today.. as far as I can think/feel, nothing... not worrying myself, just thinking some days the wee will be more wriggly than others?0
