I definitely have a bump, it depends on what I wear as to how much people notice it. I think I'm going to be huuuuge if I'm this size now.

I had a couple of more sick/dizzy/high temperature episodes today but thankfully did not vomit.

We went to C0stco and they sell 2 of the large bio oils for £24 incl VAT. Boots sell 1 large bio oil for £20.

I've definitely got a flabby tummy, though I've lost lots of weight my tummy although it shrunk got left behind :( but this week it certainly looks like more bump than tummy this week, but it's taken till I'm 23 1/2 weeks for it to happen.
enjoy this sunshine. I'm up because hubby didn't shut the stairgate on the dog before he went to work so she started barking at the cat so I had to come down and sort her out.
    Enjoy your sundays ladies

I just look like I've gotten fat again too lol. Hoping to get more of a bump soon it is there it's just hidden under bloat and belly at the moment.

I've seen pictures of my Cousins son today and he's so tiny, you can barely see any skin it's covered in that many wires and things poor little baby :-(.

I'm trying to work out when to start maternity leave. My friend said to put my due date down then have my holidays beforehand which makes sense as it would give me the best wage but not sure if I'd be allowed to do that. My other thought was to do maternity 2 weeks before my due date and add my leave beforehand. What's everyone else doing?

Have a great time at the wedding Wendz86 and I hope you find something to wear. We've got a wedding in July and I bought a dress off asos so I was prepared lol.

Have a great day ladies x

I'm hoping to start maternity leave the day I'm due and use 2 weeks leave beforehand, but because it's leave it can be refused and due to the timing and work deadlines I may not be able to have the week which is 2 weeks beforehand. I guess the other option is to start maternity leave earlier which they can't refuse and then tag the leave onto the end of the time. My biggest problem is that I need to stay off till the baby is 20 weeks old so that hubby can then take my smp, so depending on when the birth happens I could have some juggling weeks to work in at the end.

My plan at the moment is to take two weeks holiday mid nov and then start leave so will finish at 37 weeks. My work said i can bring forward if i am struggling. Also will tag some holiday on before i come back as will be near the end of next year hopefully and will have a whole year holiday to take.

You only have to take maternity from your due date, so what your friend said is right.

I'm taking really early mat leave. The baby might be early due to my issues, but I'm just looking forward to the break! I'm off at 31 weeks I think. First week of august. Only 2 months to go! I'll take all my leave first, then 1 year mat leave. I'm also taking one day a week in July as holidays.

I'll get about 6 months paid including the holidays, then SMP only. But ridiculously I also get my bonus in march which is equivalent to about 3 months pay. We will use savings to an extent but after waiting so long for the baby I'm happy to use them up. What else are we saving for!?!

I think I will officially take maternity leave from September 1st when I will be 36 weeks, but actually as I am a teacher I finish work for the summer holidays at the end of July and I will be 30 weeks. So I will basically be off work from 30 weeks! Slightly concerned that I am going to be bored out of my brain and be a recluse... Only other option is to go back to work for a week at the start of September which I am still possibly contemplating, but there would be no point in me going back for much longer than that...for a start, my mum is convinced baby will come early as all her children were born early and secondly, as it is the new term I will not have a timetable so I will probably be used for covering classes or doing admin or something and I don't fancy that really.

Thanks for your replies ladies. I think I'll put my due date down then use holidays beforehand and see how I go as I can always change it plus I'm not sure what the consultant will want to do with regards to whether I deliver naturally or book me in for a c-section.

Daisiegg wow would love to be able to do mat leave like that but understand the possibility of becoming a recluse as I would just sit at home too.

Has anyone started to think about how much money they will have after the baby comes and you go part time etc? I'm trying to work out how much disposable income we will have after all bills etc and if I should get rid of my car that's on finance and buy a cheap run around. I've no idea how much money we will need each week!
