Woohoo - we bought a pram!
http://www.mothercare.com/Graco-Evo-Pram-Pushchair---Mineral-Yellow/psA0026,default,pd.html#q=graco%20promotion
Whole package was discounted £200 to £329 including cot, car seat, rain cover and foot muff thingy. Really pleased and it was the one we liked the feeling of best too. Light, easy to fold, easy to push with one hand (important to keep a hand free for coffee/cake!). And looks lovely and comfy. Really pleased!0 -
That pram is lovely time2deal
.
That is rubbish alioops - surely not many people can make it then?
I am feeling knackered today. Took DD swimming this morning which was good but feel so tired . Actually looking forward to work tomorrow for a sit down :rotfl:.0 -
T2D - that is the pram that we were originally going to go for just on looks as we weren't game enough to try stuff out early on but then hubby saw designer :rotfl:
Wendz - that's what I thought but might discuss it with work and see if we can sort something out, probably not but it's always worth asking plus I work for the local council so could always use flexi time etc to go.DEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14:D:D:D:D

Aliloops u can attend aqua natal in work time it's antenatal care/classes n they have to allow u I did with my last pregnancy from wk 18 every Wed morning 20mins from work 10-15mins changing time n 45min class but I had no problem- midwife can write a letter to employers recommending it if needed.
U r allowed paid time off for all antenatal care including classes0 -
I think I was told to avoid swimming due to infection risk. Since Aqua-natal classes exist I guess not everyone gets that advice! Anyone else been told that?
Arrrghh... back to work tomorrow. Have had such a nice long weekend, can't we all just give up work already??0 -
Thanks for that freebiequeenie will definitely be checking it with work now, just hope they don't drag their feet like normal lol.
T2D I've not heard of any infection risk by swimming during pregnancy in fact most things I read recommend swimming as it's a gentle exercise and your whole body is supported. Do you think it's possible you were told not to due to the operation that you've undergone?
I'm the same with work, it's the most stressful week I'm going back to too, only 2500 people to manually invoice this week oh the joyDEBTS ARE BEING DEALT WITH AS BEST WE CAN:heart: Married my prince on 27/08/2011Baby Girl born 21/10/14:D:D:D:D

Oh for sure it'll be because of the surgery or short cervix (greater risk of ascending infection). Maybe I'll ask at my next cervix check. I feel so unfit and unhealthy and swimming would be lovely. Next time, if there is a next time, I'm going to try to go into pregnancy much healthier and stronger.0

Ah, all this talk of swimming is inspiring me to go to hydrotherapy. The physios at our hospital run 30 min evening classes and as NHS staff I get 6 classes for £30 if I book them together. Was still waiting for my mythical burst of energy which I now assume is just not feeling as incapable as the first 15 weeks or so rather than any actual energy.
Married but kept my surname. Got 2 brothers who can do the name thing if need be.
DH been in dog house for most of day. He woke up at 6.30am, I woke up and then was trying to go back to sleep but his phone went off at 7.10am. Tried again for it to go off at 8am. Gave up at that point and was very cross as why wasn't his phone on silent or with him and out of the bedroom?!
Just had a nap though so feeling better. Those of you with one child or more already - I don't know how you do it. RESPECT.Met DH to be 2010

I keep thinking the same thing t2d! I feel so unfit and out of shape. I'm sure it will make labour harder.
I am getting sick of my stupid dizzy spells. Currently prone on the sofa and if I get up I just wooze right over. Hubby just brought me a sweet drink to try and help. Probably isn't helping that I am getting all hot and bothered arguing with someone on another threadvery silly, usually I know when to step away!
I want to go to antenatal aqua yoga; there is a class local to me that is not too expensive and I did inquire about it a while ago but then it got put on the back burner when I was having all the bleeding and stuff. Now if that has hopefully settled down I should look into it again. Slightly horrified at the idea of appearing in a swimming costume in public, mind you! And worried about how unfit I am. Hmmm.0 -

Warning this is NOT medical advice just musing out loud:
You'd have thought the chlorine would have killed off anything exciting. Just goes to show. Unless they are worried you will somehow get your lady parts on or near the floor. Hmmm. Weird.Met DH to be 2010
