Daisie - it's probably your local politicians. They knock on my door every couple of days at the moment. It is council elections coming up soon? I think I'm in a swing seat so plenty of visitors from both sides.

Thank you. I have double checked all the locks though and come up to bed and triple checked that the alarm is on downstairs! Hubby is away absolutely loads and I am never normally like this but some reason feel really twitchy. Crazy pregnant lady!

How are you feeling today? Was your art class good?

Lixi, I've never heard of slapped cheek before but can understand why you're worried. I hope you have some good news soon. X

Thanks ladies. I feel (emotionally) loads better and Lolly that has given me a lot of comfort. No good news stories on Google in that respect!

Little man is totally fine now. He was poorly for a few days but it coincided largely with him not being in nursery and I was with him. As soon as they get the cheeks and you realise what it is they aren't infectious anymore. Poor chicken pie. It's a relatively innocuous virus except if you contract it when preggers :'(

Lixi, i'd never heard of it either, but hope the extra checks show nothing or can act fast if there are any symptoms. Scary times.

I always answer the door. I'm too curious not to!! But it's always god botherers or politicians. I mean who am I expecting?!?

Art class was good. We were only preparing a canvas this week. So making the frame and stretching the canvas. Surprisedly hard work - might be why my back was sore. Terrible that such mild activity can wear me out. But next week we are priming the canvasses and also painting a defined scene. I'll upload a picture when it's done. I'm a complete novice but saw the ad for beginner oil painting and thought it was worth a go. I'm hoping to paint a scene from our honeymoon in Africa. I bought home my color wheel from the first week. Dh says 'look, i'm no expert... But this doesn't look like an elephant.' Smart @r3e!!

Oh, and feeling much better thanks. Not brilliant sleep last night, but at least more of it. Felt much more alive today. And dh was home to make me dinner, which meant I've had a proper meal for the first time in a few days. Forgot my purse today though... Not quite 100% it seems!!

Lixi Just sending hugs and positive thoughts xx

Had my consultant appointment today. Apparently one LLETZ treatment is fine and they don't think I even had it done anyway and it was actually just a biopsy. My notes weren't very clear and it was a bit of a shambles at the time so I was never fully clear what was done and she didn't seem certain. I was assuming that my cervix would be measured today but apparently that wasn't necessary.

My Raynaud's shouldn't affect pregnancy, the other stuff was checked at my scans and the only thing left was that my family has a history of detached retina due to an eye disease which I have been checked for numerous times and don't have but she just wants it in writing as if I did have it I wouldn't be allowed to push!

So all in all was a bit of a waste of time and I don't see why they couldn't have just read my medical notes rather than me seeing a consultant. Don't get me wrong, I am grateful for them being thorough but it just doesn't seem like a very efficient process! I've got to go back at 36 weeks by which time she will have it in writing that I've not got this eye disease and then she will discharge me back to MW...again seems like a bit of a waste of an appointment, surely a phone call would be OK?

I'll just go with the flow!

Well today I walked out of work. I am so upset!

I think I metioned I was working away today and would be staying over night. Well, me and a collegue was suppose to be setting off early this morning and making our way to the venue. So I got into work, unloaded my bags out of my car and into a pool car was just about to set off when I saw a text I had received 5 minutes before from my boss. It said he thought due to 'my situation' I should stay in the office and another collegue should take my place instead. He said something about me being on my feet all day and blah blah blah!!
Now I normally work in accounts so at a desk and these two days would be away at a show but i have been before and know exactly what to expect!!!
I just think it was absolutley shi**y to text at that time after I had packed and everything!

He had sent the same text to my other two collegues and actually sent it at 1.30am last night whilst most probably drunk!!! But in his drunk state emailed my work address instead on my phone number.

I actually started crying at work before I left which I now feel silly about. I just think it was all handled wrong. I came home as I was not going to sit in an office on my own dwelling on it.

Oh and I do not believe for a second he text because he was genuinley concerned for my well being. Other comments had been made such as I would not get the benefit of the evening do due to not being able to drink.

Oh, sorry if I thought it was a work function and just a P!ss up with scenes from girls gone wild!!

    Aaarrrggghhh livid!!!
