Well I am in bed with a packet of salt and shake crisps minus the salt, and a bowl of dry cornflakes. I have kept no food down today but I know from experience if I don't manage anything it will be even worse in the morning!

    Wish me luck...

Maybe it snuck by when I was asleep. I work on the 14th floor in the city so normally I love storms as they look so cool rolling in.

Daisie my back is also killing me. It really worries me as it's so early. I can't cope with it getting that much worse.

Now I am in bed I think I can feel the bub. Lots of mid low tummy action that doesn't seem to be digestion related. Like feeling nervous is a good description!

Well I think what I'm feeling at the moment is in my gut and not the baby. Let's just say I could be an alternative energy supply.

I've had what I thought were more growing pains today but tonight my belly suddenly went hard tonight.

Using oil and moisturiser on my skin appears to be working with the itching. But I still have red blotches on each side.

This weekend we picked up a lot of baby items from our friends. Including a jumperoo (sorry Tea, I know you want one).

time2deal moan away! That's what we are here for!

daisiegg Hope works goes OK tomorrow and the sickness gets better. You always seem so positive, I have no idea how you do it. If I was throwing up all the time I would be a right grump.

lilmissreading Hope your sickness gets better too

monty-doggy So to hear about your pup, it's horrible when animals are poorly, I hate it when my dog is ill. Hope you have a better day tomorrow.

Whattodonow defo sounds like baby to me :j

Peonie My belly has gone really hard, what does this mean? Off to google a jumperoo...

Well I am joining you all in the grump club. Must be something in the air, I have been in a foul mood all day for no particular reason. I am just outraged by every thing :mad:

There is definitely something going around today. I threw up this morning and couldn't make it to the bathroom from my kitchen so had to clean the sink before work  I'm also pretty tired as boy was up at 2 am this morning and wouldn't settle so "slept" the rest of the night with me! hope tomorrow is better for us all!

Yay for team pink Daisie! Boo re the ipad monty. My phone has been smashed a few times and I have given up replacing its screen until it stops working!

After all that chat about scans I did some more research and found a gender 3d scan for 39 quid tomorrow afternoon. Oh can't make it due to meetings though so I haven't booked it. With us being away for the weekend and the nhs anomaly scan being relatively close I have talked myself back down. Might treat myself later on in pregnancy. I was lucky last time as I got an extra scan at 34 weeks to double check I didn't have a low lying placenta - couldn't be confirmed beyond a doubt at the 20 week scan. We will see!

  • Peonie, i think i want an adult sized jumparoo more than anything! :)

Wtdn, deffo sounds like bubs. Mine has just figured out how to kick my bladder. Best crank up the pelvic floor exercises- in private though! I deffo have a 'face' when I'm doing them... Like a shocked chicken.

I'll also throw my hat in that there's something going on today. My carpy spine has kicked off and my sciatica has flared up. Can't take my usual fuzzy make feel good tramadol to get rid of it so am just looking stoic and drinking tea....

On the bright side it's been a lovely day up here in Liverpool. One of those crisp, sunny spring days. :)

Morning all. Today will be a better day! Good luck Daisie with going back to work. Don't let them throw you back in the deep end and make sure you ask for help carrying books etc around the place. Don't be a martyr!

I feel marginally better this morning. Much less hip and back pain as I did ice everything for about thirty minutes last night. Plus a goodish nights sleep. Hopefully that helps for the day at least.

Now the morning ritual of finding something decent to wear.

    :( Daisiegg

I hate coming to work now! Everyday that I wake up I dread it! I have to stay out tomorrow night and really do not want to be away from my hubby or home. I feel very attached at the moment.

Regarding decorating, the people we bought our house from loved colour and every room was decorated something bright and bold. I (at the dismay of DH) have succeeded in turning every room predominantly Magnolia!! The nursery had a bright orange feature wall, but is now magnolia with a pink border :)

Daisyegg hope today's been ok for you. Must be awful going back xx

I've had a better day today, I bought a huge bag of Lamaze soft toys for my baby, probably about £200 worth from Facebook sale or swap in my area for an amazing £10. They are in fab condition so I'm going to hand wash them all and put them with my ever growing stash of baby stuff.

Then my mum came round and we had lunch :)

I'm ready for a nap now!
