Aww month I can sympathise! One oft he reasons I suspected I was pregnant in the first place was the fact my boobs seemed to have gotten bigger (at only 4 weeks) and were so sore. Early on I went up a cup size and last week I tried on a strapless bra before I went shopping as I know indeed one for hols and I had a 'back bum'. Went to get another and had to go up 2 sizes on my back alone!
Went today to try measured as I feel that they are cutting in to me and I hate going anywhere other than bravissimo as they all do that add 4 add 5 thing which is a load of nonsense, if the tape measure says I'm a 32 round the back then I'm a 32! It said 33 and she tried to tell me I was a 36. Settled for 34, put it on and felt like I wasa bout to fall put of the bottom of it. Off home I went with a skip that I'm not yet needing to go a step up. Won't be much longer I don't think.....
Been exceptionally grumpy and tearful today. Hubby is off to Italy with work tomorrow until Friday and I hate going away from home without him but find it even harder when he's away without me. I just go into a depression as I have zero adult company for a week apart from at work and I hate my own company. I have a meeting. On Wednesday night but apart from that it will be home, dinner and bed for me all week to try and make Friday come quicker! No longer ...tobe! I took the puppy with me to Worcester, I'd have missed him and I don't trust oh to look after him as well as I do, omg how will I cope when baby is here lol?!0

Evening ladies. The body changes are a bit confronting aren't they, but it is what we wanted! I have big plans of losing lots of weight after the baby is born, and with the 'miracle' of BF weight loss I am sure I will be a waif soon enough. (the universe collapses laughing at me...)
Anyway, I bought a cot tonight! Been watching one on Ebay and I got it, so can hopefully pick it up tomorrow. I also got a big package of baby clothes that I bought last week for some embarassingly small amount and they are all lovely. So many clothes for less than a tenner - I think about 20 items at least, including two winter suit things that will be fabulous. Very pleased.0 -
Mrs C hugs. On the boobs thing I have made do recently with my old nursing bras and bra extenders. I am not spending any money on new ones until I absolutely have to. Taking that approach on the clothes front generally in part to hope it motivates me to lose weight post pregnancy and because I am trying to watch money to pay for more maternity! :money: My other half is away for two night next week but I am quite looking forward to it as I will get to properly veg out and watch complete rubbish on TV! I am way behind on obem and lots of other things.
On the obem front, did anyone see episode seven of the current series? The young northern couple who were lovely, but I thought the mum to be had classic FAS features (they didn't mention it on the programme, but her mum turned up for the labour and she looked like a classic alcoholic)
Monty that's lovely re the glowing. Crazy re the dog!:rotfl:Mortgage at largest: £250,000 _pale_ (March 2006)

Thanks Lixi. Unfortunately I will have a moody 12 year old to look after, but there's no messing with me when his dads away, I just lose it with him and he knows exactly who's boss as he doesn't have anyone else here to undermine me and when his dad gets the bad report, Crikey even my legs shake when he has a go! Things improve for a while. Will be interesting to see what happens in October when he's no longer centre of attention as he's a nightmare just now, especially when his brother and sister are here!
I'm doing all my vegging out just now and putting the feet up after work like I've been instructed to. It's great getting away with doing nothing as it's actually making others do something!
Anyone else noticed their gums being more sensitive? A lot of bleeding going on tonight when I was cleaning before bedNo longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000 -
I am another with a husband going away for work this week! At least we can talk to each other on here.
Yes - my gums are bleeding when I brush my teeth - apparently normal part of pregnancy. I keep meaning to book a dentist appointment though.0 -
Now it's been mentioned yes my gums are bleeding too. I didn't pay much attention but I'm going to book a dentist appt ASAP now!
I watched an episode of obem the other night with my friend and it showed just the head out. I've never seen anything like it and I was almost crying saying omg I can't do that. It seriously freaked me out.0 -
Ladies just a heads up to anyone who has an iPhone or iPad, if you download the Mothercare app and enable push notifications (you can always disable them later) you get a code for £10 off a £50 order. I have done this and hubby is going to get it too on his iPad so we can use two lots of £10 off ordering our bits of furniture. I know it is only £10 but every little helps so thought I would share!0
