Ladies just a heads up to anyone who has an iPhone or iPad, if you download the Mothercare app and enable push notifications (you can always disable them later) you get a code for £10 off a £50 order. I have done this and hubby is going to get it too on his iPad so we can use two lots of £10 off ordering our bits of furniture. I know it is only £10 but every little helps so thought I would share!
delurking to say thank you so much for this tip I really want to use it but I'm not getting the notification with a code on! iv downloaded the app, opened it etc but nothing has come up, I said allow to push notifications too! anybody else having the same problem? or possibly have a code I could use if they aren't using it? I wonder if it's a personalised code everytime. I really want to order the colour pack for our pram which is £50! so £10 off would be great.
PS congrats on joining team pink
edited to say ignore this post the code came up about 20 mins after id downloaded the app! was just being impatient x0 -

Ahh thank you ladies, you are all so lovely
I am still a bit shell shocked...like I said I was completely, one hundred percent convinced it was a boy. Clearly stupid!! The scan was lovely, saw a really clear picture and even saw her face in 3D which was amazing - she actually looks like a human baby and has hair on her head and was sucking her thumb!! We got to see the 'money shot' as it were from about six different angles, so she clearly had listened when we both gave her a good talking to this morning about making sure she shows off her bits. The sonographer said he was completely certain, there was no question about it.
I am thrilled but I think will take a while to get my head around it. I had sort of bonded with a boy and feel really bad about it now! I keep saying sorry to her for calling her 'him' for the past 8 weeks or so! I almost had a little cry in the car afterwards for my boy that never was...which is absolutely mental because really I have always really wanted a little girl.
So there we go! I have bought her a very cute little pink outfit and no doubt more will follow. Hubby said after the scan 'oh, that means I don't get my pirate wallpaper'! So he knows it is too boyish too.
Looked at prams and think we might settle on the Bugaboo cameleon, but not one hundred percent sure yet.0 -
Aw congratulations Daisegg! We're staying team yellow but like you I'm convinced its a boy in there although I'd love a little girl!Baby on board - EDD 29th Sept0

congratulations Daisy on being team pink. is the scan any different to the nhs ones? apart from being 3d and stuff? we barely seem to see anything when we've had our nhs scans.0
