Currently on the dreaded two week wait now having had a 5 day transfer last week... - this cycle was ok, no needles as opted for nasal sprays for down reg part although the after taste about 30 mins later is not nice
chocoholic_chick - how is your treatment plan going?0 -
star - keeping my fingers crossed for you that this cycle is "the one!"
I'm doing OK, still DR, went for my scan last week but the lining wasn't thin enough so back for another scan Friday, keeping my fingers crossed that all looks OK so I can go on to the next stage. Doing another FET so at least I don't have to go through the stimms stage, feeling a little bit down with it all, another pregnancy announced at work and a friend is now posting daily updates on FB on the progress of her pregnancy.New House... I must admit during the down reg stage it did play on my moods too - pleased to say the next lot to thicken back up the lining have put me in a much better mood, however now starting to feel a bit anxious and keep thinking every twinge etc is mother nature about to show!0

Hello everyone,
I've been a bit quiet recently as nothing much is happening here. We just got our first appointment through for the fertility clinic in June so we will see what they suggest. Can anyone tell me what to expect from a first appointment?
I seem to be surrounded by pregnancies and am just doing my best to distract myself and avoid the subject.
Best of luck to all of you who are waiting to start a new cycle or waiting to test,

Hi everyone. Officially here now! Been ttc just over a year and have now been referred for next tests. Hubby getting semen analysis in next week or so and me having day 3 and day 21 bloods redone - although I'm pretty certain they won't find much as temps suggest I'm ovulating, my cycles are just hugely long and irregular.
Like Jenny any tips on what to expect at this early stage most welcome :-)Officially Mrs B as of March 2013
TTC since Apr 2015, baby B born March 20170 -
hi cats and ljaneyr, think i am just a little bit ahead of you both.
I've had day 3 and 21 day bloods done which all cam eback fine showing i ovulate okay etc. Then i had an internal ultasound scan.
Oh has done two sperm anailysis. He is booked in for a third one in june. He has low motility and low count.
In the mean time i now need to book in for a hsg xray to check my tubes but the consultant has said that we will probably end up having IVF, i am assuming that is because of OHs results before they even look at my tubes.
Good luck on your journey0 -
Ahh star keeping everything x for you!
Choc - hoping this is it for you - I actually came off FB as I was fed up of seeing people's uteruses! I wouldn't mind if it was my friends but you know how whatever your friends click like on, you can see? Argh!
However it was v liberating!
Hi Cats and Janey,
Same for me as Staple - I repeated my day 1 and 21 bloods, husband's test had only been done a couple of months before so that was still recent enough... some of the appt she was literally just reading through test results, our questionnaire and asking a few questions... then she scanned me and counted my eggs/antral follicles- and then that's when she was able to suggest next steps/lap and dye for me, possibility of IVF down the line.
Hoping it goes well for you both and thinking of everyone!:rotfl:0 -
ellesbelles how long had it took you to get this far if you dont mind me asking?
Did they giev you any indication of how long youll wait for your lap and dye?
I've been told to ring up on next CD1 to see if i can get in for xray (they like to do them in early cycle to make sure you arent pregnant) but the nurse told me they are already booked up for May as the consultant is only at that hospital on Mondays and Fridays so thats no good. I will still try but its looking like June now and the way my cycle is going i am expecting the end of june! Then i think the waiting list to see the consultant again will be around another 3 months!0
