Congratulations good vibes.
So I think it's time I moved over here a little bit more regularly. I have occasionally posted but think I probably belong here more than the other ttc thread.
A little bit about me, we've been ttc for just over two years now, I have pcos and irregular long cycles. I did manage to get pregnant naturally after 14 months of trying but sadly that ended in a mmc at about 10 weeks. It's been almost a year now since the mmc and no bfp since. I went to the gp yesterday and she is going to refer me once oh has had his tests.0 -
Hi Thinkpink... sorry you find yourself here
I know you from the other thread. It's been 16 months for us and we are just being referred...so guess we will be hopefully getting appointments through at same time. Hope your stay here is v short xxxx

We did get referred last year, and a few days before my appointment I got my bfp, really don't think I will be that lucky this time, but fingers crossed.
I have to go for a blood test between CD 3 and CD8, I hope af appears soon, I'm already something like CD70, so it would be good if I can get that out the way.0 -
Hello everyone,
I'm not quite ready to join this thread yet, we have been ttc for 10 months, but I hope you won't mind me asking a question?
We went to the Drs yesterday and she was happy to start tests as I have endometriosis. She did a day 21 blood test and ordered a SA for DH.
She also told me to book another blood test at the start of my cycle but I can't remember exactly when she said. I think it was between day 1 and 5 but I always get so confused in medical appointments and forget the important bits!
Does anyone know what this is for and also when it should be taken?
I can give the receptionist a ring on Monday but that seems ages away!

Hi Ljaneyr,
The 1-5 day bloods usually test for FSH and LH. Mine also included chlamydia antibodies (which shocked me as I haven't had an STD but apparently this is standard) and rubella.
They definitely need to be done day 1-5.
Good luck!:rotfl:0
