    Good luck frozen penguin xxx

As for me since the chemical pregnancy I have had to wait until my second period to get a blood test on cd26. This was based on my cycles being 33 days long but since the chemical this cycle was shorter 27 days. Think I need to confirm with clinic what day I should do the blood test because of this shorter cycle.
Also my periods have become more painful and I feel like y ovaries are hurting when af comes.

Good luck Frozen, I never had time to come on here before Friday to wish you well. Glad it all went well :). When is OTD. Xx

Thanks everyone xxx I like the idea of the pritt stick pink! (although perhaps some superglue or even NoNails would be the best thing ;))

Fairy - OTD is 15th May, a Friday. I can't make up my mind whether to test on the Friday or leave it til the Saturday, whether to take the Friday off work as leave or whether if it is negative, being in work would take my mind off it. When's your OTD? Hope you're getting on okay xx

That's a difficult one Frozen, do you really want to hold out an extra day by testing on the Saturday?! I would probably take the day off to test, if it's a positive then yayyyy go out for lunch to celebrate & maybe buy something little to make it seem real & if it's negative (hopefully not) then you can just be sad at home without seeing anyone. I don't think being at work really helps take your mind off of it especially if you start bleeding as it can be quite heavy & crampy. Let's not think of that though :)! Yeah I like the thought of supergluing or NoNailing the embryos :rotfl:

My OTD is Sunday, we have quite a long wait at our clinic as they make us test 15 days after transfer. I've tried to forget about it as much as I can but this week has always been where it's gone wrong as I start spotting before test date so I'm checking my pants & toilet paper every time I go to the toilet :o. I've been ok but this morning I woke up to go to the toilet and my (.)(.) were no longer sore which always happens this week before I start spotting. When I went back to bed I had really bad AF cramps and I thought !!!!!! another fail!!:mad: No spotting yet but have been feeling really queasy on and off all day. Hasn't been helped by eating Percy Pigs just now :p! So will just have to wait and see what happens. I'm too scared to test in case it's a bfn. Have acupuncture tomorrow so will see if he gives out any clues as apparently your pulse changes when you are pregnant. xx

Thanks Fairy, that's very good advice! Gonna book the day off work and see what happens.

I'm keeping all my bits crossed for you that this time it's sticky xxx

(I also really fancy some Percy Pigs now! :D)

frozen - I don't know what job you do so if this is practical, but try to sneakily work your projects/tasks so that you don't have anything essential on for the few days prior to OTD.

Keeping everything crossed this doesn't happen, but I got AF three days before OTD. :( Fortunately, this was on Friday evening (OTD was Monday) so I had the weekend. I'd booked Monday off in advance, and didn't go in. Even though it had been three days I still wasn't ready. Went back on Tuesday.

Everyone's different - some people just want to work and get back to normal life straight away, others (me!) need time. If possible, wangle work as far as you can so that if you need to take a bit of time off (even sickies) you can.

But, this will all be redundant advice of course. :D

How are you getting on Frozen? Have you started symptom spotting yet? :D. You must be 5dp5dt so your little blast will have implanted now!! :). Hope everything is going well for you & that DH is pampering you :)

Elephant How are you getting on with your Norethisterone? When do you start your stims?

Not sure which stage everyone else is at but hope everything is going ok for you.

Had acupuncture yesterday so was trying to read into anything that he said since they can tell :D. He told me I was nice & relaxed, he told me he liked the look of my tongue & he felt my pulse a few times & gave me the thumbs up and told me it was good! So not sure if it is a nice & relaxed good or a pregnant good, will find out one way or another in the next few days.

Sorry if you are eating or have sensitive tummies but something I've noticed the last couple of nights is a clear jelly like discharge after using my cyclogest. I only noticed it when I was wiping the hardened cyclogest off the toilet as it was mixed through that. I've never noticed that before, has anyone else had that? Anyway 11dp3dt today so just 4 more days to go!! xx

Ive been bad :embarasse I've been feeling a bit queasy the last couple of days so even though I had peed a few times already this morning and have had a few glasses of water I caved in & tested! As soon as I had done it I instantly regretted it as it would no doubt be negative & went upstairs to chuck it in the bin 10-15 mins later but I looked & saw a very faint line. :o. Wish I never bothered now as now I'm wondering is it a positive/an evaporation line/chemical. Will test again tomorrow using FMU Aaaaarrrrghhhh!!

Oooh Fairy, :naughty: I don't know what advice to give you, I don't think there's much you can do except wait til tomorrow morning (although that's pretty crappy advice I know) xxx

I'm not too bad, trying to think positively but well, you know how it is :o I had a few aches and pains and things-that-were-almost-cramps-but-not-quite over the long weekend but nothing much now. Yup, 5dp5dt so still another 9 days to go. Did anyone see that article on the internet by Standard Issue - called IVF and the Dignity Olympics? It's worth a Google, it's very funny and they have this line in there about the 2ww, that we spend the time "cursing that technology hasn't advanced enough to provide live streaming from our womb directly to our phone" - very true!

I'm on cyclogest as well Fairy, I haven't experienced what you mention yet but wowsers, it's messy isn't it! (sorry everyone)

Thanks pink, that's a good idea, I will definitely try and try up any loose ends, luckily at the moment it's getting a bit quiet at work (all the students are leaving, yay!) so there's not a huge amount to do.

    Hugs to you all xxxx

Haha Frozen! It's not crappy advice, it's what I should have done in the first place!! I will have a look at that now as I need a laugh :) My acupuncturist said that feeling pains such as cramps, things going on in there, etc was good so fingers, toes & everything else crossed for you. The first week kind of goes past quickly second week not so much!! :D

Cyclogest is definitely messy! It's a horrible feeling when it melts & you stand up  Yuk!! Just think if we are successful we still have to continue until 12 weeks!! :rotfl: xx
