  • Hey folks,

    Thats a great T-Rex :)

Sorry I've not been around much, been feeling pretty crappy.. Sometimes I don't feel grown up enough for all the crap in my life.. Like one day I'll suddenly grow up, become an adult and everything will be easy! *hugs to Jazz for feeling poo too*

Scan on Friday btw, hopefully EC next week.
  • Hi Ladies,

Just wondering if any of you have had the ivf and embryo transfer?

The reason I am asking is we got the transfer last Sun and this morning my wife has passed some blood though not much, could this end our hopes or could it be something else

    Thanks in advance

    L

Don't panic!! Your DW has had a lot of people doing a lot of poking around up there lately... this can irritate things and cause bleeding/spotting. Also, if she's on any pessaries (eg. cyclogest) that can also cause bleeding.

There's also the much-fabled implantation bleeding but tbh I'm pretty sure that's a myth.

I know it's scary but this really doesn't mean it's over. Tell her to stay calm (as much as you can), relax and think happy thoughts.

Have everything crossed for you both xx.

  • Live n learn - my friend has just had IVF success and I know she had some bleeding after ET so not necessarily bad news. As Tea says, try not to panic although I know it must be hard. Have everything crossed for you here too x

  • lnl - try not to worry too much or read too much into it. Sometimes our bodies just like to confuse the issue by randomly bleeding or not bleeding. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it's the fabled implantation bleeding.

Hope the rest of my lovely ladies are doing ok. You're all very quiet.

So fed up today. I think I've misjudged something and I feel so very stupid.

It must be pretty hard for you lnl - your only role is to watch and be supportive and you can't actually do anything to help.

Bring chocolate home - that always helps :)
