I had my DR scan today, all fine, my lining is thin etc. Start stimming on Wednesday.

Hi Toniq! I remember your roller-coaster journey well, happy ending and all! Glad all is well. I have 2 weeks left in work before I go off on maternity leave, nearly 5 years after the start of the monumental journey that was TTC#2! Our little girl is due November...can't wait!

Hope there are some more happy endings on here soon, in whatever form they may take xx

I used to get them from amazon, think they were somewhere between £5 and £10 for 50. Sorry, been a while since I bought any so can't remember the exact price.

Pee on them at the same time (within reason) each day. Afternoon is better than morning. The second line has to be as dark as, or darker than, the control line for it to be considered +ve. You can have detectable levels of LH in your system all through your cycle so they work differently from HPTs (where any hint of a second line is a +ve).

The LH surge shown by the second line shows that ov is imminent (prob. within next 12-36 hours) but doesn't show that it's taken place. If a test the next day is lighter it helps to indicate that ov. has probably taken place, but it's not a guarantee.

Hey jazz. OPKs go from internet cheapies all the way to fancy clearblue smiley face ones which are easy to read but pricey.

I used to use the internet cheapies. You can get 50 from ebay for a few pounds. Depending on your cycle length you use them from around CD10. You should test afternoon to evening and will need to hold your wees for a couple of hours to make sure its concentrated. You get a test and control line and when the test line is as dark or darker than the control line, it's go time and you will probably ov 12-72 hours later. There is no need to test again after this.

I'm another one popping my head around the door.

Tea CD73?! Wow that must be so frustrating for you. When my cycles were 28-35 I thought that was bad but you are double that! Hopefully AF is on the Horizon.

Jazz Internet cheapies are good but I sometimes used to find them difficult to read, I wasn't sure whether it was getting darker or not. At least the smilies were obvious on the Clearblue ones ! What I did notice though that with the cheapies they detected the surge before the more expensive ones (cos I'm sad and double checked :cool:)

Had a really !!!!!! week last week as I wasn't responding as well to my meds as my previous two cycles. I was previously on 300iu Menopur & now on Gonal F 300iu and on day 8 scan I only had 5 follicles ! I had a few more on my follow up scans and got 4 eggs on Friday, 2 fertilised and got 2 4 cell embryos transferred this morning. One was a Grade 1 & the other had slight fragmentation so just have to hope they continue to divide. Embryologist didn't seem to be too bothered about it but obviously I have been googling like mad for success rates on 4 cell embryos

I had pre & post transfer acupuncture this time around and I definitely noticed how relaxed I was for the transfer. I would definitely recommend it to those ladies that are thinking about getting it done.
