Ours without ICSI will come in above 6k (if we need ICSI its another 1k)... Maybe I should have shopped around for different clinics, but maybe they are all pricey down south. I am paying for a few "exciting" extras like the scratch!
Still, we now love ASDA, they saved us £130.0 -
Yay pink! The first one is always the worst but it'll be plain sailing from now on
pickle - our ICSI was just under £5k, including all the drugs. Paid for our FET last week as well, that was £1450 including drugs and an endo scratch. It's incredible how different clinics and drug companies can charge such wildly different prices!0 -
I'm stimming with Gonal-F and the injection was absolutely fine - I didn't even feel it.
I'm not brain-fogged and down today, thank God, but I have woken up really irritable. Just keeping quiet at work and cracking on!
pickle - I'm in the south too and friends who have had a private cycle at my clinic said it cost about £7k in total.0 -
Pink glad to hear it,I was on menopur for the 3 cycles I was injecting, really want to try gonal f though.0

I don't know why they choose on or the other, PM. Consultant just said it was what we'd have and I didn't ask any questions...0

Well done Pink, must be weird to do that to yourself the first time.
AFM, been to the hospital today. Thought I was having a lap dye and hysto but by the feel of it I have been tackled by the England Rugby Team, all shoulder charging me in the stomach. Thanks everyone that warned me of the shoulder pain too, it's quite an experience isn't it?!0 -
Tam I hope your on the mend soon, not had either op but sounds painful.
Pink the more im researching im thinking menopur wasn't/isnt the right drug for me. I did ask about changing but was told no I couldnt.0 -
Costing us about £8k inclusive for our surrogate cycle. Think we have spent around £40k now. Sigh
I have Fostimon and Merional alternating days for stimming, although have had Menopur for the first 3 rounds.
As for us, we are waiting for counselling appointments for all of us and then it's all go, not sure how I feel about it all tbh, just getting on with it and seeing what happens!2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Lisa wishing you all the luck in the world.Im praying we all get a happy ending in whichever way that will be.0
