  • Tam and Fairy - yup, we like our theatre and comedy :D When I plan what we're going to see I even make a spreadsheet and GANTT chart, I am that sad :o

lisawood - excellent news about your surrogate. Fingers crossed it all works out well :j xx

vodkashot - so so sorry to hear about your loss, I know there's no words that'll help but we are all here for you and thinking of you xxx

pink - excellent news about the stimming, it's infinitely better than DR-ing! Hope it all goes well tomorrow xx
Also re: LP vs SP - we were told that they can control your cycle better on LP, for me it was because with PCOS (and after numerous tests), they knew my body wouldn't produce the right amount of hormones on it's own to work with the SP. Plus they needed to induce AF otherwise who knows when it'll turn up!

Hello to ricegirl145 and shrimpy_80, really sorry you both find yourself here but hope your stay is short! Feel free to ask anything you want :) (plus I've added you to the lists if that's okay) xx

AFM - endo scratch went well on Thursday, they said it was nice and straightforward. I was surprised how quick it was, literally about 3 minutes! I didn't take anything beforehand and it wasn't too painful, more uncomfortable with about 2 seconds of 'screw-your-face-up, ooh-that-hurts' type of pain (iykwim) :) Bit achey afterwards for an hour or so but nowhere near as bad as some AF pains over the last few years.
DR-ing started this morning and then hopefully I'll be starting the oestrogen (Progynova) early September followed by the delightful Cyclogest. And after everything I've read about that one, I'm soooo looking forward to it! ;)

Hugs to you all, whether you need them or not xxx

Well done pink, has it made you feel any better yet?

We went off to ASDA yesterday to get a quote for our drugs, they suuuure aren't cheap. :(

We were told the IVF would be "about 5k" by our consultant, yeah, maybe for JUST the IVF if you don't want any drugs with it!!

Our ICSI was under £4k, with all the drugs. If that helps for comparison!
