Oh I totally agree with you, I was just showing that even a tiny issue can make people prickly. I think its wrong that no one will tell them, and I can understand at you not wanting to as its not your place, can't your OH do it? It doesn't sound like he's a big talker on the subject though, so its tricky. I think the touchiness comes down to feeling like you have done something "wrong" for passing on bad genes.
Sensitive/nosey question so please ignore if you want - do you think you have carried on dating and then getting married if you'd known about this from day 1? It might have been actually a lot easier rather than stumbling upon it far down the line, you'd have talked it over before getting together about what to do I mean, and the options would have maybe been more open.
I've wondered about this myself and I don't know. We always talked about getting married and having kids once we'd decided to buy a house together so it was part of the plan and I don't know if infertility would have been a deal breaker when it was easier to walk away. I'd perhaps have had more bargaining power regarding the other options back in the days where he wanted to please me :rotfl::rotfl:

Ladies im having a minor freak out/worry moment. Spoke to fs and dh swimmers were 48% motility I think it was? or was it maybe morphology? that and the count being 6.8 million im a little worried these iui's won't work0

Thank you for your messages of congratulation
Benhope - I bought the ginkgo and tribulus from Holland and Barratt. The Fertilaid was harder to come by and I have to admit it was quite expensive (although we were just about to spend £10k on ICSI so it seemed a drop in the ocean). I found it cheaper to buy from America and pay the customs duty than to but it in the UK. I used iherb.com, but I did also buy from healthmonthly.co.uk when the other supplier was out of stock0 -
*hugs* PM anyone at the clinic you can speak to?
many grats JoJo, working on sperms here anything to add to his list. OH is soo good at rying anything. Can I ask what doses did you use ?0 -
Gv tbh I don't find the clinic very helpful0

I'm afraid that's all to technical for me to be able to help with PM. Maybe write down some questions and go back to the FS armed, and try to get them to answer some.
Only got a holding email as response from my FS, I'm itching to get on with it, although I'm CD27 and a that stupid part of my brain has now started hoping fora last minute miracle heh heh you think I'd know better by now!0 -
Had a letter from FS today saying that I only have one very small fibroid but it is in a location that could cause a problem and they 'may' suggest a hysteroscopy to see if it is indenting. She will discuss this and treatment plans at my next appointment on 24th July.
Everything takes so long, am feeling very frustrated!!!
hugs to all xx0 -
Jammy hugs to you, its so frustrating waiting for the appts, tests, scans etc. Glad though the fiborid is small.
Pickle I don't have another appt with fs.Iv'e got to ring when I know the outcome of this iui cycle.0 -
Went to the doctor today because my pain meds aren't working. After making me wait an hour (grr) she told me to just take more. Fabulous, I'm already a zombie.
DH is off to the genetic counsellor just now. and wouldn't let me go with him. Really hope everything is ok.
(Is it wrong that part of me is hoping that everything is a big mistake and that TESE can go ahead after all? Urrgh, I hate denial!!)
Jammy - sorry to hear about the fibroid. That sounds like a pain. I have no idea why everything takes so long. I once got sent for a CAT scan to check my sinuses for infection 6 months after the initial (emergency) ENT appointment. I'm figuring after 6 months it'd either have cleared up or killed me.
PM - sorry but your fs sounds like as much use a chocolate fireguard. What are her success rates? Is there not another clinic nearby you can be referred to?Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0 -
Code argh sorry to hear your pain meds arn't helping
its not wrong at all to want things to be different at all I think to some degree weve all been in some stages of denial. As always hugs to you.
Unfortunatly it doesn't look like theres anywhere different I can go, it took 5 months to get refered to the new hosp. Intresting thought about sucess rate,I have no idea tbh she just talks about the overall clinic sucess rate0
