Do you have an official start date pink, we might be cycle buddies (unless the miracles occur before then, COME ON MIRACLES!!) I'm not sure when we start but they said there would be a lot of paperwork at first so maybe not.

Hugs vesper. Sounds like you need a cup of tea and a creme egg. My advice would be to continue with the tests as nothing will happen for ages treatment wise anyway I hope things get better for you. And you didn't upset me.

Argh of course I meant FP. Sorry. Brain is mince cause the GP prescribed new drugs for the TN and now I feel stoned.

Pink - I hope you get lucky and dont need the IVF.

We're on holiday for two weeks in June, so we put off doing it till after that, since the doctor ordered me to RELAX before treatment. We'd just moved house when we had our initial consultation. I was not relaxed or in any way mentally prepared to start immediately! :rotfl:

My next CD1 after holiday should be around 27th June (thank God for my uber-regular cycle!), so I phone up then to say we want to start in that cycle. It works out that CD21 will be around 17th July, so that's roughly when we hope to start treatment.

However... When I phone up on CD1, if they've got too many people that month they may put us off until the following cycle. They said it's rare, and they'd only postpone us once, so if they can't fit us in that time it would definitely be the following time.

So, hopefully start on CD21 around 17th July, but may be one cycle (24 days for me) later than that...

Hello folk, been lurking for a very long time now and thought I could probably do with posting and saying hello.

My dh and I have been trying for over two years now and I turned 42 in March so time is against me.
We had a missed mc last year which was devastating and it was just before I was due to go to the fertility clinic.

I'm going to try and get back onto the fertility clinic list again as I've not ovulated for 4 months now so although I'm a bit resigned to it just not happening I'm not willing to give up until I've tried all I can at my age.
I'm also very overweight so on a vlcd to try and shed the weight, for my health if nothing else.

I do have a ds who is 3 so we've done it once.
So, hello and I look forward to interacting with you guys if you'll let me.
    :-)
