Thanks guys - I phoned them as Im at work and its crazily busy at the moment!
The nurse I spoke to was lovely and not condescending at all - I think she could tell I was on the edge of tears the whole time. She asked about the size of the clot, and when I told her it was small and that there had been no actual blood with it she said not to worry. I also told her that I was having some pains and that my symptoms had disappeared, but she didnt seem too concerned about that either. She was very reassuring on the phone, but I had visions of her putting the phone down and filing me in the "going to miscarry" pile....
I know, Im a drama queen, but I cant believe that this has happened...

I've just spoken again to the epu.
Unfortunately, I didn't get the same lady, this one wasn't anywhere near as sympathetic.
I'm now properly bleeding and passing clots. It looks as though this little one isn't going to stick....
The nurse said to wear a pad (which I had done anyway) and monitor it. If the clots get bigger or I need to change the pads every 15 minutes I'm to phone back.
I'm so sad. And I've got to go back to work after my lunch now... :(

Mrsvics, try not to worry at this stage, there are other reasons to be bleeding, what you need to get them to do is to give you a blood test. They need to test your HCG levels, they will then do another test in 48 hours time, if its still going up its still good.

Hi all, just a quick update - thanks for all the hugs and advice.
So I've spent the afternoon at the epu after passing a HUGE clot. They did an internal exam. The doc said that there was lots of blood, and what she thought was tissue, but she couldn't be sure.
They did a urine test and told me off for not eating (which to be honest wasn't top of my agenda today!)
And I had some bloods done to check my HCG levels. I've phoned work and told my boss what was happening. She was lovely and I'm off tomorrow so I can wait in for the call from the hospital. Once they have the HCG results, they will decide what happens next.
To be honest, I'll be surprised if it's good news as that clot was massive...
Hugs for you PM and hopefully you'll have some better news soon xx

Its good they have done the tests, bleeding in early pg is quite common and doesn't always mean the worst so hoping for a good out come for you.Try and rest as much as you can.

Im not expecting things to get any better for a good few weeks atleast. Its the same out come every time for me. I need 2.5 vials atleast to get one follie even then its very much touch and go.

    Huge hugs mrsvicx and pm.

Can I say thanks to you ladies, its thanks to your advice and discussions in the past that made me know what to expect to day. Today was dildo cam day. (oh yay). Apparently my insides look ok from what they can see. But I have a thicker than usual lining, I don't know what this implied, and the doctor didn't explain, only that they would do some more tests to find out why.
No apologies for losing our test results and when we walked in she started talking about the tests results without explaining them, she thought we already had the results.

Looks as though they are confirming what we expected though, OH has too small a sample, and that is showing a lower than normal count, with very low mobility. But as the 2 sets of specimens he did were small, they want another sample to ensure that, that is normal. But they are pretty certain it is hubby now and the doctor said that it is looking 100% likely that we will require help, and would never conceive naturally.
I can't say its really a shock, after all with trying for so many years it was pretty obvious that there was a definite problem.

It have been booked in for a proper internal scan in a couple of weeks (can't remember what its called) but they have said there isn't that much point in doing a lap and dye (sic?).
She said that the waiting lists are not long at the hospital now for any more tests we need.
Remember never judge someone that makes a mistake, because in six months time it may be you that makes the next mistake.
