PCM called again earlier and I told them im in conversation with the land owner and they just said ok. Forgot to ask how they got my number0

Why would they not have the V5C, if they are the registered keeper?
Motability keep the V5C , I alread mentioned this on the previous page in one of my replies so not sure why you are arguing about it ?
the keeper of the car gets no vehicle paperwork as Motability keep it all
so because this OP thought motability had got involved and as the dvla were involved he thought they had passed on his phone number , which I believe is against the DPA
the point here is it depends who the DVLA have down as RK as to where the PCN goes, I wondered if Motability had received the PCN and named the driver (the keeper) as being the OP , same as a leasing company would do , meaning he would have got an NTd instead
a motability owner has no V5 , no MOT and no Insurance details, its all held by Motability
not sure why I should be explaining this but I have gone to a great deal of trouble explaining this already
my friends daughter has a disabled son who has had a motability car since he was 5 years old, you dont think he got a V5C or insurance policies do you ? the mother was down as the keeper, yet the under-age son was on the DLA paperwork and we have no idea what the DVLA records say
my point being Motability keep all that paperwork and all referrals go to them normally0 -

Ok, I was wrong about the V5C, Mobility do hold that in order to tax the vehicle when due. However, as I stated in my earlier post the disable person that is entitled to the car is the registered keeper.
However, you are wrong about the insurance certificate. I have the insurance policy in my hand right now.0 -
strange how you can say I am wrong about something here as you have no idea about my circumstances
I had a motability car for 3 years on lease and Motability kept all the paperwork, including the V5C and the insurance certificate too , in order to tax it every year, they even kept the MOT when they mot`d it at 3 years
when I bought it they sent me the V5C in my name as RK and the MOT but declined to send insurance and told me that they would only send a letter of proof of no claims with RSA (more than) for the 3 years I leased the car and I would have to insure myself from now on, so I did and still do
at no time until I bought the car did I receive any insurance policy and when I checked with RSA they said it was done via motability as the leaseholder and not me directly so would not issue a NCD certificate in my name , maybe they have changed that in the last 2 years but at the end of the day we are not talking about insurance here,
I said that Motability kept the V5C which you quoted back at me and refuted , they also insure the car on behalf of the keeper and any other named drivers and keep that insurance policy in order to tax it as well , maybe you got a copy of that policy but I never did and so I based my words on my experiences and my dealings with them so I am "not wrong" at all, I am actually truthful about my lease contract with Motability
however , this spat this does not address any of the points raised by the OP so I fail to see why you are trolling my answers which were given in good faith and aimed at the OP not you (its not your thread)
how about YOU now explain to the OP how the PPC or DC got his phone number ? which was the point I was making when you took my words out of context just to try to prove me wrong, which is hardly the point of the exercise here
the point here being to help the OP which I tried to do in my posts , NOT to try to gain "brownie points" from people who have replied with advice and help !!0 -

I said I was wrong about the V5C. However, I have the RSA insurance policy in my hand for a current mobility car.
As for the phone number, I am not psychic. Maybe the just looked up the phone book?
!!!!!! are you on about brownie points? Get over yourself.0 -
just try answering the OP in future with help instead of trying to find fault with my answers
if you have an RSA policy then good luck to you, doesnt change the fact that it was a block policy with named drivers when I did it a few years ago, I was told this my RSA themselves when I queried my no claims discount and was advised to get a certified letter from motability leasing about it because I never received an RSA policy or a no claims discount letter either and they would not provide one
anyway, my point is stick to helping the guy in trouble instead of ripping apart answers from other members trying to help him , he was the one who brought up the dvla and motability, not me , and the fact they phoned him which is out of order and needs looking into0 -

Wait and see what trubster says, read this!

He has the email addresses for the Managing Agent Centre Manager at Meadowhall, and he knows the approach you need to beat this - he has been there done that and got the compo! But I think he's away this week. Do not lose any sleep over this and DO NOT offer to pay them any money. DEMAND (if they ring again) to be told how PCM got your phone number because the DVLA don't give out phone numbers.
We can help you. Don't worry.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
