Just received email from CISAS. They have granted the decision to our favour. Waheyyyy good times
Decision
1. The claim succeeds.
2. The company shall cancel the customer’s contract as of 10 February 2014 without applying a penalty for doing so, provide the customer with a PAC, waive all charges incurred on the customer’s account from 10 February 2014 onwards, and pay the customer the sum of £100.00 in compensation.
It's a long document but this sums it up. It basically goes on to agree with everything RC has mentioned in the templates. We have six weeks to accept or reject.0 -
Excellent news Bimmermad
I have just received a response from CISAS acknowledging my response to EE defence,
They have assigned an adjudicator who is not on the list on CISAS website.0 -

Fantastic news...
I don't think EE have six weeks to respond though. I think you have to accept the decision, then they have six weeks to comply with the decision.
Edit: You have upto six weeks to accept or reject the decision, then the company have upto 20 days to act on it...0 -

You're right I was too excited to fully read the letter:rotfl:
"In accordance with the rules, the customer now has six weeks to let us know whether they accept or reject the Decision, that is, the customer must tell us on or before 19/05/2014. Please note that this deadline cannot be amended or extended under any circumstances.
IF THE CUSTOMER WISHES TO ACCEPT THE DECISION THEY MUST TELL US WITHIN SIX WEEKS, IF THEY DO NOT THE COMPANY WILL NOT HAVE TO DO WHAT THE ADJUDICATOR SAYS.
You may advise us in writing, by fax or email.
Please note that the Decision can only be accepted or rejected. It is not open to review or appeal.
Should your claim have not have succeeded, the Company may now pursue any debt owing to them. Rejection of the decision leaves you free to take your matter to court. Should you choose to pursue this course of action we suggest that you take independent legal advice from a solicitor or your local Citizen’s Advice."0 -

Excellent news!!
How long was it roughly from being assigned an adjudicator to reaching this decision?0 -
WOOO HOOO just had mine too...Exactly the same result0

Congrats great news!!!:T should we just send an email to accept?? I think I might hold off for RC to advise.
If you got what you want then accept. Of course you may want to wait 3 or 4 weeks whilst you use your phone for FREE and take your time to decide what sim only deal to go for;)
Can you confirm which contract you were (feels good!) on? And did they award any compensation?0 -
How much can they charge for PAC after the end of the contract?
Can they charge a contract termination charge?
If the contract has ended the PAC is free an there are no termination charges (you do have to give 30 days notice). Best to give notice to cancel with 2 weeks left on the contract and then use the PAC code a day or 2 before the end of the contract.0
