Thank you for all your help random curve I sent the email again and had this response today I have looked back through the thread and couldnt see a response to this sorry if I have missed it, where shall I go from here I doubt this can be taken as a deadlock?
Thank you for your email regarding the recent text message you received.!
Please be advised the text message sent to you was not sent to notify you of a price increase but to advise you of a change in our network terms and conditions which will be made from26 March 2014.
As a company we wish to provide clarity on the terms to ensure customers are provided with more certainty and transparency in the event of us making any changes to your price plan.! The update in the terms and conditions supports the guidance Ofcom recently issued around fairness in contracts around several issues, including price increase in contract.! The change in the terms provides greater clarity on price increase notification, which includes the instances when you as a customer have the right to cancel a contract without charge.!
In addition to the above we have signed up to the government's Telecoms Consumer Action Plan which aims to improve the customer experience in a number of areas, including bill transparency and certainty over the lifetime of a contract, in line with the principles of Ofcom's guidance.
I trust the above explains more clearly to you why the text message was sent to you.
Yours sincerely
Executive Office,EE
Without meaning to be rude, how hard have you actually searched?
Within 5 minutes of searching i have found the response you have received from EE in posts #64, #65, #75, #159, #509 & #533
With Random's reply and template responses listed in posts #67, #68, & #547!!
In fact the exact response you received, along with Random's response to it, is on the very same page (this page - 28 - post #547!) that your question is on!!
I suggest you make a note of post #462 on page 24 for future reference.0 -

Well EE has until today (19th) to reply back to my case. Haven't got any response so far from CISAS. What happens if they don't respond to my case by today? Does it mean EE have lost their time slot to respond!
Won't be surprised if I don't get any response back from CISAS and then later next week they say that they had given EE an extension by default!0 -

Is that date including the 5 day extension? Or have they not asked for one yet?
If they haven't had one yet then expect to get the e-mail soon saying they have requested / been granted one.
If they have already had it and the deadline is today then their number is up and they will submit a defence or miss the chance.
Don't assume if you don't hear today, that they haven't submitted one. It may take a day or two for CISAS to add it to the case and notify you.A big believer in karma, you get what you give :A
If you find my posts useful, "pay it forward" and help someone else out, that's how places like MSE can be so successful.0 -

That's excluding the 5 day extension. People who had a deadline for the 20th got the extension email today so I would have expected to have also got one today (since I didn't get anything yesterday)!
I think they might grant EE an "automatic" extension even if EE fail to provide a response by today.0 -
have also just received their lame extension email, was expecting a response by the 20th.
Its a farce, exactly in whose interests are these people working for?
I also notice, it then potentially gets to go to a adjudicator, who can extend it further, what a load of crap !
One thing is for sure, the more and more I read on here and get into it, these lot are as corrupt as the big 6, yet seem to remain unchallenged!
I for one, will be going the whole mile !0 -

We should all be prepared to take them to court in the end. What an excuse that they need more time in spite of the fact that they have full time legal resources working for them!0 -
Ok I'm just "venting" now.
I can't believe the cheek of these EE guys.
I've had a T-Mobile contract cancelled penalty free after 4 months because they used the wrong RPI, I've won two cases against Orange because they can't enforce their price variation clause.
So today I phone to get a PAC code as the second of the two orange contracts is up and when asked why I am leaving a I try to be diplomatic and say, "I'm just not happy with the service", but that was not good enough so they made the mistake of pressing me for an answer - so when I said it was because they never give a straight answer and if they get things wrong they won't admit it - and then explained why - can you guess what they said??
We don't get things wrong we never used the wrong RPI for T-Mobile and our price variation clause is in the contact and so is enforceable!!!! Cheeky bug**r! I asked how come I've won three cases against them then , to which he said all these things are checked by their legal team so they can't be wrong - I of course pointed out that this was a perfect example of why I am leaving them and if they treat their customers like this they soon won't have any customers left. PAC code received, but won't get used for 29 days as because of (yet another EE mess-up) my account is still in CREDIT :rotfl:0
