To me pjs are for sleeping. Comfy clothes are fine, I didn't say you had to eat in your Sunday best!
If I saw someone in pjs at 2pm I'd think they must be awfully lazy..!
On the flip side of that you could say that everyone who gets dressed daily isnt lazy. Thats not the case.
If I stay in my onesie which I dont always do, its because I want to keep warm and save money by not putting the heating on, its got nothing to do with laziness. Im still capable of doing housework in PJs or a onesie.0 -
Well it's past 3 and I'm still in my pjsBuzzybee90 wrote: »I don't think it's weird for me to think is strange behaviour.

Guess that makes me lazy! Even though today is my only day off this week!
I admit at my parents getting dressed was the done thing but now I live on my own (well in a houseshare) it's just more comfortable to be in my pjs if I'm not going out. Although I'm about to get dressed as I'm off to the cinema

So you'd scrub your toilet in your pjs and then go to bed wearing the same thing...?0 -

Did I actually say I went to bed in the same thing?0 -

...do you change your clothes after you've scrubbed the toilet before you cook dinner?
Personally, I clean the loo in my pjs ...in the morning before I have my shower and shove everything in the laundry basket!0 -

Maybe its possible that people have more than one onesie, or pair of pyjamas or nightshirts.
I cant wait to see which part of my post is going to be picked apart next.0 -

I wasn't trying to "pick apart" anything. I was originally referring to someone getting up, going about their business (e.g. Toilet cleaning!) and then going back to bed again in the same pjs.
Are you implying that some people get up, shower or whatever, wear clean pjs then go to bed in different ones. E.g. "Day" pjs and "night" pjs because if so that's not at all what I meant.0 -

This is what you said. You referred to me. Not "someone"
You mentioned people going back to bed in the same thing.
I didnt. You might not be looking to pick apart posts but you are certainly putting your own interpretation on the subject when not a lot of information was given out in the first place.
Im not implying anything. You were the person who said about going to bed in the same thing youve had on to do housework, I didnt say that in any of my posts. This thread is now at risk of being derailed in a ridiculous discussion about wearing pyjamas during the day.0 -

As I asked - what do you wear when you clean your toilet?
Today, PJs are leisure wear - I love my soft jersey slouch pants and fleecy top - when I've got a leisurely morning (off work, son walking dogs first thing etc etc) then its lovely just to put them on and have a take-it-easy morning - yet if anyone were to come to the door, I wouldn't feel embarrassed at opening it - wouldn't be in my dressing gown & nighty! After all, we're not talking nylon or old-fahsioned pajamas and frilly shorties here!0
