Thanks for your lovely comments everyone :A

Still feeling a bit down, but sure I'll snap out of it soon.

Spiderman 2 was okay last night, not as good as the first one I thought. We got special 3D glasses, a bottle of water and a Spiderman mask at the cinema though. Always nice to get some freebies.

It's mummy Emz's birthday today, so I'll be taking her out to lunch later. We've got her some nice presents (most of mine I got from Amazon). Need to go and buy her a cake this morning, which I'm going to do with my Sainsbury's voucher.

    Hi Emz
Hope you don't me butting in but I wanted to tell you something. My neice just had a baby boy and he was poorly and after 2 weeks he was diagnosed with CF. I was, like everyone devastated and started searching the net for information cos we didn't have a clue about it. I entered Cystic Fibrosis in the search box on this site and came across you. Reading your posts made me feel more positive because you were very positive and determined. It gave me a huge boost hearing about everything you do. Please don't be down, you have helped me a lot. Thank you :heart2:

Thanks CBC and Buffy. I know I really need to find a balance between looking after my health, earning money and doing things I enjoy. If I put all my energy into one thing (like trying to earn a lot of money) another will suffer (like my health).

I took my mum out for lunch at Toby Carvery. It was lovely :D. I had chocolate fudge cake for afters.

I know this will sound stupid, but I've put on a lot of weight recently (well, half a stone - it's a lot for me!) and I'm noticing it around my midriff!! I've got some jeans that I just can't fit into anymore. So OH and I are going to join the gym over the weekend. I need to get some exercise to improve my lung function, so if I can tone my tummy up a bit in the process and not lose any weight, then that's a bonus.

Still at my mum's waiting for my sister to come over after work so we can give her the presents we got.

Aw, thank you :o - of course I don't mind you posting.

Treatment for CF is a lot better than it used to be (especially when I was born nearly 33 years ago), so as long as he keeps on top of his treatments, he will hopefully live a long and full life (getting a lot of exercise from a young age is also good for him).

It's better that he is diagnosed so young (I was diagnosed from birth because I had a blocked bowel and needed an operation) because he won't go without treatment for several years and he won't know any different - taking tablets and doing his treatments will just be a way of life for him.

If you have any questions or there's anything your niece needs to know, feel free to post on here or PM me.

I hope he is doing well.

Thank you so much Emz. Now he seems a bit better. His lung capacity was 100% on Tuesday so that's good. He has also managed to put on a bit of weight which has been difficult. So that's good as well. Thanks again. :heart2:

    Thanks Lou :A

Been thinking if I can earn £20 a day on the questions until the end of the month, I will end up with £500, which isn't bad.

I'll see what else I can earn too, but doing just 50 questions a day won't put that much pressure on me.

    Morning

I did my £20 worth of questions yesterday, so I'm up to £160. I also wrote an article on Textbroker as I've had 9 euros sat in my account for ages, so when that article gets accepted, I will be able to request a payout.

Helped my mum out by listing some stuff on Gumtree for her. Got someone coming to buy one of the items this afternoon.

I'm off to Basingstoke tomorrow to do some shopping with my mum and sister. My niece and nephew are currently up North with their grandparents, so my sister wants to make the most of being child-free, and there's a Jane Norman in Basingstoke :D.

I don't plan on spending any money, but my mum and sister have said if I see anything I like, they will buy it for my birthday. I'm going to try and buy wisely. I really need another coat, as all I have are my winter coat and a jacket, so nothing in between.

  • The day I fit into jane Norman clothes will be the day any thought of buying wisely goes out the window. They do some truly lovely things so enjoy.
