Thank you. I always start well, it's just keeping up the momentum during the month.

Up at 5.30am to do my meds so I could get round to look after my niece and nephew on time. I've got 2 weeks off after today though, thank goodness. Should help with getting all my questions done this month.
Only just started work today, but up to 13 already as I got some done this morning whilst doing my nebuliser.
Need to get my £10 a day challenge under way, but stuff is slow to trickle in at the moment.

Sorry I haven't been around much this past month as I had a paid temporary job and was so whacked each evening after getting home and cooking our meal (OH is hopeless in the kitchen, even after making himself a slice of toast the whole house reeks as if it's been gutted by fire!) I didn't log on to any sites except my banking ones.Money is so tight I need to keep track of every penny. Was charged £15 for a 'returned unpaid' DD last month so am eternally vigilant now.
What adventures and successes you've had since I was here last Emz:j. I sympathise over the fleas though. Although we have a cat I keep him deflead all the time but sadly he catches baby rabbits and brings them in through the cat-flap. They are usually alive and go scampering all round the downstairs rooms. I think they carry fleas because we often feel the odd bite on our ankles:eek:
Sorry about long post but I really wanted your advice please. My ancient desktop PC is on its very last legs, using it has become a real trial now. I need to upgrade asap and was considering a laptop this time. As I know you earn your living online I wonder whether you could recommend anything. My situation is probably different to yours as I don't do any gaming or download films/vids or music. I just use it for research, emails, general web browsing, selling stuff on various sites, banking and keeping accounts (spreadsheets and stuff). I research family trees for people using various genealogy websites. It is in use several hours each day. I am seriously skint:( so price is a major consideration. It doesn't need to look pretty or be particularly lightweight as it will only be used in my home. A reasonably sized screen is a must too.
Any help from anyone will be very welcome, I need to get it ordered within the next few days. Thanks xxx0 -

Thanks, beanielou:T
I hadn't got round to thinking about actual sellers yet. I haven't a clue what to buy:o. I've been trawling round various online review sites but there is such conflicting advice and I suspect most of those posting adverse techie comments are the more advanced users and 'geeky' types. I can't understand half of what they are on about anyway:o. Something pretty basic is all I'm after at this stage, time is of the essence as my current pc is well past-it in all respects. When finances improve (someday never:() I can always get something better.
But I'll definitely give Argos a serious look when I know exactly what I want. Thanks again for the heads-up:beer:.0 -
